Don't use their Cell Phone Repair services. This store is fine for office supplies, but if you are thinking of getting your cracked screen repaired, go to iPhone MD or Waco iPhones instead. I got my iPhone screen repaired here last summer to save me a trip to another store. The repair was done same day, in store, and appeared fine. It was more expensive than the other two places I named above. But the real problem is that right after the screen repair, I realized my phone's proximity sensor wasn't working. I looked online and saw that's a problem after screen replacement sometimes, but the techs at Office Depot didn't know how to fix it. Even worse, I noticed a bit of a white edge on one side of the screen. Over the next few months, it got worse and I realized the screen was peeling away from the rest of phone. When I went back to see if that was covered by a warranty or something like that, they reminded me that a warranty is an extra charge and I didn't pay for it at the time of repair. So I should have bought another service to ensure that they would fix their faulty work? They did give me an estimate on the screen repair and said I'd have to replace the whole screen, which is around $135. I went to iPhone MD instead, where they said I didn't need to replace the screen. They re-adhered it, which cost around $35. Office Depot charges more for comparable tech services in town and doesn't do a good job or stand...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to the Office Depot a few days ago Store # 155, Waco address 5524 BOSQUE BLVD Waco, TX 76710 when it was discovered that the print services were at lunch decided to take my lunch and wait for the hour for the tech to come back as everybody needs to eat right, but when they didnt I contacted managment mary via phone and was informed he was at another store doing some work and asked when he would be back please and was given a time and when they still werent back called and asked what store please as it was my intention to call and ask how long he would be there and go and meet him to get the printing I needed done but the store manager stated we dont give personal info out about our employees, I explained why I asked and that I didnt want personal info just business info to get my printing done and when Mary became unreasonable I asked who was the district manager and she hung up on me. The print person came in as I was leaving so I did get my service performed but I will never go back to office depot again. In addition I noticed you cant even get audio cables in the store any more as apparently they are downsizing to online but I can go anywhere on line and part of the reason I used to come in was convenience, I also noticed they had a 14tb hard drive for $400 while best buy had a 22tb for $400 and a 20tb for $259 so its not worth my time or money to come back. I went in to make copies, and as soon as I arrived, Mary, the manager, informed me that my only option was self-service because the employee had large orders to process. I tried to use the self-service, but I wasnāt aware that the paper quality needs to be manually adjusted when using card stock, so my prints came out on regular paper. I didnāt receive any assistance because the employee was too busy with orders, but she did find time to help another customer who walked up. I spoke with the employee about the issue, even apologizing for interrupting since she was busy, and asked if I would be charged twice. She seemed annoyed and confirmed that I would. When I left, I asked Mary if a refund was possible, explaining that she told me self-service was my only option, and I had no help. She said, "Yes because the employee is busy." I also pointed out that there were no clear instructions on how to change the paper quality for card stockāonly a note to feed it through the side. She refused the refund but mentioned she would speak to the department manager about adding clearer instructions. Here's a piece of advice: be careful not to "mess it up" when you're told that the only option is to handle...
