World Market — Local services in Waco

Took 3 friends today and the service and food was exceptional! Rachel was our server and she was the sweetest! Then Chef Mike in his cute chef clothes came around to check on us. Amazing food from the Chef with the fun personality. Did I say prices were great too! Then we went to the Fair Trade Market that’s in the building… if you need a great gift that you wouldn’t find anywhere else.. go check out everything. We stayed till 2 … and they had to tell they were closing we were having so much fun. We got there at 11:30🤗. Very enjoyable all the way around! Go try them out … you can get breakfast anytime. Nice professional helpful employees. Great selection of food and drinks that changes every so often. Nearly everything food related I've gotten from here is delicious, so if you see something weird just give it a try--it is highly likely to be quite tasty. They sell cookware, furniture and beauty products too. Cookware, glasses/mugs and plates are quite durable (mine have lasted 7yrs and still look and function great). I can't speak to the quality of the furniture, but it seems overpriced. Their beauty products are also overpriced, but the quality is consistently good and the selection is unique if you live in Waco (to get similar products you would usually have to drive to Austin or farther) so it's...

I visited the Waco store today with intentions on purchasing many items for a design job I'm currently working on. The male manager on duty seemed extremely inconvenienced when I asked him to pull several framed pictures down from the wall. They were placed too high for anyone to reach without a ladder. His attitude was terrible and I don't think he said more than a few words to me the entire time. I had a similar experience with the same manager a while back & finally decided to address it. A simple, 'is there anything else we can help you with' would go a long way. I love this store's merchandise but the customer service is definitely lacking at this location!
