My neighbors husband passed and I wanted to find something different to give her and her family something to eat then the same old stuff they were getting from others. Her family began arriving from out of state within a few hours of his passing. We got her a meal from another location and I placed an online order for some small cakes and was able to select flavors. They were ready super fast and I got them in an hour or two. I wasn't sure how cake for someone passing would go over but a few days later the neighbor came over to give us a thank you card and told us how much she enjoyed getting them. She said the cakes really stood out and they were good. She really liked them and wanted to know where the store was so they could buy more for the actual visitation after the funeral. I don't know if they did but she really appreciated it. It make it extra nice they had cards in stock right there in the location and I was able to pick a very nice sympathy card that looked so pretty too without having to go to a big box store. Read moreI love Nothing Bundt Cakes. I live in Phx AZ. When my daughter and family moved to Hewitt was so glad to know there was a NBC near by. We ordered my daughters wedding cake there, 12 large and a double for cutting. Everytime I visit Waco every 3 months we go by and pick up a variety. But every time I call from Phx for a special occasion they mess it up. First of the week I called for a 3 cake tower for grand daughters, a celebration. Daughter went in to pick up and they didn't have it. She tried my name( it was ordered by my full name)her name, type of cakes, colors. Nothing so she bought the cakes herself. When I called they found it and it was under my name but then they said she never used my name. Seriously. Everytime they put me on hold they left me for 10 minutes. They remebursed her card and said they would have the tower waiting to be picked up the next day. She went in and nothing. Seriously. This is crazy. Do not pre order. They can not keep it straight. Read moreI had an order placed and paid for in advance for an event. I arrived at the scheduled time for pick up and they had a poorly written sign on their front door “sorry for the inconvenance, we will be close system down.” I won’t even start on the spelling/grammatical errors. But upon calling, their phone lines are busy and there’s no one to answer the door. My issue is, I PAID FOR THIS ALREADY and I needed my large order for a specific day and time. They didn’t contact the customers that they KNOW pre-paid, as there were several people including myself, angrily waiting outside. I will be returning tomorrow for a FULL REFUND and that will be the last they ever see of me! I understand that things happen, but there’s some due diligence that just wasn’t handled here. What are those of us who already paid, and have events supposed to do at the last minute?! It really seems as if someone wanted to go home early, otherwise they would have stayed here and explained or at least contacted those of us that had orders and let us know!...
