Everyone if you purchase something or have something fixed at this store please seriously please check your jewelry and make sure it's no FAKE GOLD PLATED jewelry they're giving you. CHECK your items before you pay them for it. These people are a bunch of SCAM ARTIST AND CROOKS!!! I had went there to have my husband necklace ( which is a $1000 rope style 24K chain) repaired after the lobster clasp broke on it December 2017. So on Tuesday May 29th 2018, I decided to take the it to the another jewelry store in St.Charles Town Center, Waldorf, Maryland. Lord have mercy.... come to find out by the other store that the lobster clasp the Georgetown Jewelers put on it previously, IT WAS A GOLD PLATED LOBSTER CLASP!!! So after i found out i went back to the store with the gold plated clasp and confronted the salesman about them putting fake gold on my husband's chain, but of course he's stood in front of my face and told a bold-face LIE that he don't remember fixing the chain and that they wouldn't do nothing like that, so i handed him the clasp that other store had took off the chain and i asked him to look at it and tell me if it's real gold and he said no, but it's not there lobster clasp. Lying sack of SHYT!!! I knew he was going to deny it, so i guess they can distinguish their jewelry from other jewelry, i guess their store name is ENGRAVED ON THEIR MERCHANDISE!!!! Go...

I originally came in to have a Tanzanite fitted for a pendant and necklace, but I left feeling like I had just chatted with an old friend. That personal connection made all the difference. I ended up reaching back out via text and phone, and brought my necklace back for a repair. True to his word, Ali completed the job even earlier than promised, and the final product was absolutely beautiful.

When I asked for the necklace to be shortened, he didn’t hesitate to make it just right for me. The level of care and attention to detail was outstanding. I also want to thank his sister, who was equally warm and welcoming. Georgetown Jewelers has definitely gained a loyal customer in me, and I’ve already referred several friends!

My experience with them. I purchased 2 replacement watch bands from them. When I got home I realized neither fit comfortably. I took them back to the store and had one band adjusted to fit ,the other I was told they had to Special Order a new band. It would take 2 weeks they would call , 2 weeks came and left no call. I called and left an inquiry message no one returned my call. My next call I made I was told I had a wrong number. So I went to the store and the person in the store said he couldn't help me because the manager wasn't there and he has all related information with him,but he promised that he would call me that afternoon. He didn't. No one did. So I called back and a different man answered the phone and about this time I had a few choice words for him.
