The receptionist and most of the nurses where friendly at the ER, but when I got in the back the Doctors treated me like scum. One in particular, Dr. Parks. Talked down to me and made me feel stupid for a mistake I know i've done, his job is to treat not lecture. Listening to this poor man's Patrick Dempsey belittle and mock me to his posse of slack draw troglodytes kinda made me want to repeat that dumb mistake that put me in there. Then they gave me a referral to a Orthopedic surgeon to get my hand fixed. Turns out that referral isn't too who I was supposed to see, and now doesn't sound like they want to see me because of that. There's a lot more to this story. Bottomline is you're better off staying home when something is ailing you then coming here, after visiting here twice and getting two non fitting casses, I can only surmise they genuinely do no care.

I recovered from hemiplegic migraines which caused stroke like symptoms. I’ve been in rehab 3 times now and I fully believe and trust in the staff and nurses at the inpatient rehabilitation center. I wouldn’t trust nobody else with my health. They work with you and listen to you. Dr Wyrick and staff are the best

EDIT: I was encouraged by my neurosurgeon at Harborview to seek care at my nearest hospital to follow up on a drug reaction that may be affecting another preexisting condition I have, (he was afraid of brain swelling). I came alone, against my better judgment as my 4 year old had the flu and I did not have a baby sitter, so her father couldn’t come with me. After past experiences I was too afraid to enter the er once I had parked in the parking lot. In desperation I called the charge nurse (this was Christmas eve so I couldn’t speak with quality control) explained that I was told to seek help here, but that I was having a hard time entering because I had been misdiagnosed in the past leading to a very severe extended drug reaction that could have been treated there had bloodwork been done. She was extremely understanding, gave her permission to look at my labs that had been done at the urgent care a day prior so they could see the correlation of off the chat eosinophils, and histamines in response to a round of medication I had been prescribed by another provider.

In this visit (Christmas Eve), I was treated with kindness and compassion; something I was not expecting after past experiences here, but I was extremely grateful for none the less. The Dr. I visited with left no stone unturned and did do the imaging my neurosurgeon requested. Luckily no new anomalies were discovered despite the migraine I walked in with, and the blood work was found to finally be stabilizing, with the help of prednisone, which the Dr (Jones) was kind enough to extend the prescription until I am able to meet with my neurosurgeon in a week.

My only encouragement for this hospital left is to always check eosinophils levels if someone who doesn’t have a history of psychiatric or gastrointestinal issues suddenly come down with them. It can save their organs and mental health. Giving psychotic meds to someone who is experiencing allergic reaction delirium isn’t helpful, can cause you to become aggitated and experience a worsening of psychosis, giving those practitioners attending the patient false confidence in the belief that, “this person is just crazy”. It’s akin to torture, and you don’t even realize you’re doing it. This can really make a normal average every day person not only distrusting of the very people who are supposed to be trusted in a medical crisis, but resentful. I took almost two years and two rounds of this medication to discover the culprit because of a lack of blood work in response to sudden mental and physical deterioration.

I am extremely grateful to Dr. Aaron Jones for his diligent and compassionate care in a time when I was extremely fearful and distrusting. A little faith has been restored, and that’s been the greatest gift this Christmas.

Dr. Billingly…for the love of god man..DO LAB WORK. You could have caught this, and saved me 6 separate visits to the urgent care and ER over the last three weeks, with one simple lab test. When I finally got lab work 3 days after seeing you, it was still so high I can only imagine how bad the blood work was when I was in your care. After seeing you I deteriorated QUICKLY, and was too afraid to return in a more timely manner, because of the way you brushed me off as an “anxiety” attack. I should not have to tell someone who went to school for nearly a decade that anxiety meds alone are no match for off the chart histamine and drug induced eosinophilia.

Again, thank you to St. Mary for doing the right thing and giving me the stabilizing care I desperately needed even if it came extremely late..better than never. Ya know?

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, to anyone who took the time to read this exhaustive report on my recent experiences at this particular hospital.

We have changed our previous one star review to a three. But if we are reviewing dr’s alone, I would give...

I moved here in 69 St Mary's was a wonderful wonderful hospital have people that cared I might be very few people to give a review like this but Providence is the reason why I don't have a leg Providence St Mary's is also the reason why I don't have my mom I've been told I was flashing an aid when I was just using my urinal and the nurse was there put me in a room with an old security guard asked him what he was there for he said so I didn't hurt anybody charge nurse came and told me they could press charges against me make a long story short I got up and walked out of the hospital just after I bypass surgery had 137 Staples in my leg from groin to ankle. Two doctors that I will not name are the reason why I am the way I am sent me to rehab saying that I had tendonitis when it was DVT for 3 months I suffered almost killed me 2 weeks after I was diagnosed I went into the ER one of the ER doctors is still there took an x-ray said something looks a little funny but you keep on doing what you're doing almost killed me now I don't have a leg and that's been like 4 years ago. That's a short version of my story my mom's version she had nothing wrong with her cardiologist of St Mary's said pretty if you ever want to have your arteries looked at in your heart you just let us know my mom is a little hypochondriac lover to death anyway one of her friends talked her into it she went in just a check well they didn't listen to what medical records has said by using a pediatric camera they didn't her groin area but when they got to the upper arteries they chose not to use that and tore her artery pulling it out started dying right then bleeding internally but she was standing in the cardiologist's office but not on Facebook because he said pretty your heart's perfect you arteries look great she was dead and less than 48 hours never have I got we're sorry kiss my butt anything for anything so they're lucky I give them two stars now when I go there they just life like me to either spoke hand or Cadillac thank God. And as I lay here right in this review I might have mercy again and I just got rid of it St Mary's flew me to Cadillac after I got my leg amputated I got MRSA had to have vancomycin a PICC line for 6 weeks a wound vac for 6 weeks and now I got to go back to the hospital tomorrow I'm worried. you know what's bad is that the cardiologist and Cadillac cuz my mom was in hermiston and Good Shepherd wasn't able to deal with her heart attack that she should not have had the cardiologist at Cadillac covered up for the cardiologist in Walla Walla all because I had to open up my mouth and say the cardiologist and Walla walla's name next thing I know he's wanting to do autopsies two weeks he said for the autopsy to be ready for months and then he wanted me to come in the office so he could explain it to me saying that she died of an enlarged heart well how can that be when the cardiologist and wildlife just said that your heart was perfect and your arteries were a great and then a 48 hours later you're dead and you died of an enlarged heart well that's only obvious and it doesn't take a rocket scientist all organs are porous I guarantee Oliver organs were enlarged which also made her life insurance not pay out Saint Mary's it might do in a pinch but don't rely on them too much I couldn't get a attorney to touch either one of these as I see and I even have friends as nurses saying malpractice but yet I didn't get anything I even called their complaint department and got nothing not even a sorry so be careful when you go...

I checked into ST. MARYS this afternoon. Front desk people fast and friendly. I go in with severe pain. The last time (I went was November 13 2023.) I believe what I said was disregarded. I told them I couldn't keep any food down. I told them I couldn't get in to my regular doc. Thursday or Friday. I don't believe they read my chart or what meds I was already prescribed. Now this is where things get sketchy. My name is called an I go back to be treated..there is a guy on the right as you walk in the back room door. He has had a NASTY accident with his hand.. blood all over a table and used dressings, JUST LEFT THERE... They put me in a hallway less that 50ft on the left of the hallway. I dit on the chair or bed offered and i notice small sign posted.. says you are here to be seen faster. There is people in the room across the hall. (The last 2 times, I have been treated here ;I was in the hallway not even in a private room) I asked the Nurse if it was busy she said no. There was only 1 person in the waiting room. The CT guy came and He was great he was from London very nice and efficient .. He needs a raise!! We get back.. I have been in pain the whole time and just got back and I asked the Nurse for another pain med via my IV because then I would keep it down She says okay I'll check. I've been moved around an very painful pose and hurting bad. (Long time goes by 30 min or Longer) and new doc comes up and said. Shift change other doc went home.. Can I get you some other pain pills.. ohh !!here we go.. he hasn't read my chart..I can't keep any meds down.. I he suggest ABC and D. I said. I can't keep any meds down that's why I'm here!! The new doc didn't discuss an issue he prescribed 2 pills for. The last medicine I already was on.???? The discharge lady.. was really nice.. but the problem was she stared reading my paperwork outloud...In front of the people across the hall.. then 4 other people within earshot. I felt discussing health matters had no privacy; I feel I wasn't listened to; by the Nurse or by the doctor. Its like being rejected- like we are saving the rooms for people with better insurance. I was never offered a room. I didn't appreciate being asked private health questions in the hallway where everyone can hear our conversation. The Discharge gal asked the Nurse is she can't keep meds down why are we prescribing her meds. I said my point exactly.

At some point. Protocol needs to be revamped here. I am seeing violations and Im the patient- I felt rejected due to my insurance. If I get a bill being charged for a private room. I will sue ST Marys. I'm tired of substandard medical...
