One of the absolutely worst service experiences I've ever received for ridiculously sub par food.
Would never recommend to anyone, there is a name brand burger place across the street that probably wouldn't take you 30 MINUTES to get a below average burger.
This place needs to go the way of the dinosaurs.
We pulled up 15 minutes before close and we're a little worried we were late. There were 5 cars in line but we felt we were early enough to not be rude.
All the cars had their lights off and, naively, we assumed that was a local thing.
Wrong. So sooooooooo wrong.
Well, after sitting there for 20 MINUTES, we still didn't have food.
Then what appeared to be the manager came on the intercom.
"Sorry. We're closed" (super friendly, not). "Hey, yeah we actually ordered already". Cheerful. .... Crickets.
WAIT ANOTHER 10 MINUTES. (we have now been here 30 MINUTES total... For burgers. From a "fast food place". I think they had to kill, butcher and grind another cow for this burger)
Finally get our super mediocre burgers that weren't anywhere worth the wait time.
Fries were soggy, they had probably been waiting 30 minutes so understandable, burgers very average.

Sorry have to update this.... Also was super excited a chipotle chicken sandwich (which I actually told them while ordering) and 30 MINUTES LATER when I got my food they just handed me the bag and we're like "yeah we don't have anymore chipotle sauce, hope that's okay".
I honestly can't even believed I tipped them. I'm going to try to be a worse person in...
Read moreGlad we came here, but everything is cooked fresh, so expect to wait. Get the double cheeseburger, put it in a combo, get it with the shake. It is cheaper that way. The burgers do come with pickles, relish, tomato, lettuce, onion, and a sesame seed bun. Get a container of fry sauce & ketchup packets on the side. The onion rings were perfectly golden & extra crispy with what looked like panko bread crumbs, loved them! The meat is thin & crispy, hence why I said you should get the double for more meat to bread ratio. Chocolate malt was so good, the shakes are worth it. The strawberries come from local Klicker farms, huckleberry is a bit more, they have so many flavors of shakes. The fries are lightly battered, the portion is good sized. My hubby & each got a burger & couldnt finish the onion rings, they were very filling. The Gersch burger was served on two pieces of toasted white bread, but the same as a cheeseburger. It was a bit more money than fast food , but way better. They play oldies on the loudspeaker. Takes me back to our drive in in Kent , WA. This is a cool place to visit. Lots of people were lining up, that tells you this place is...
Read moreDrove from Yakima to Walla Walla for an appointment at the VA. Remembering my first experience at Ice Burg, we decided to have lunch there. This was many years ago, that I had eaten there. Great experience. All I can say about it now, is that it wasn't as good as my first experience there. I ordered the same thing that I had years ago, bacon cheese burger, large fries, and a chocolate peanut butter fudge shake. The burger was just okay. The fries, you tasted more grease than fries. The shake was missing one ingredient, the chocolate. It says on their sign that is clearly posted, all ingredients are fresh. Then why did I see the cook pull a premade burger patty out of the cooler. The way I remember it, they made the burgers by hand. They weren't frozen premade patties. And how do I know this, because the patties were too perfectly round and flat. Plus I saw the cook pull it out of the cooler. If a great place wants to maintain the integrity of the business, be consistent with the quality of the the food. I'll wait till I get back to Yakima and have lunch at Stop N' Go next time. At least they're consistent with the quality of...
