I am the author of the book YOU Have Infinite Power and I was in the Boston area to give a seminar. Ironically... When I woke up that morning at my hotel. ..I realize that my pants were not on the hanger along with my suit. It's 7:30 am and our seminar starts at 9am. I ask the young lady at the Marriott if she knows anywhere that sells men's suits... but she has no idea. The only thing she can think of is the local mall that doesn't open until 10am. One of the gentlemen working in the hotel then approached us and told me to call Jim McElroy at FORMALWEAR in Maltham. I asked if he was open this early. .. and his response was "They are definitely open now" I couldn't believe it! I called and shared my situation and sense of urgency. Jim asked me my sizes and said he would have something ready for me. When I arrived... only 35 minutes after I called... Jim's son sized me up and within minutes had me in a suit that fit like a glove. Jim and his family saved the day and I was able to give my seminar. Love this place! What a selection! Really is a top of the line store. I was invited to a "Black Tie" wedding in Manhattan and needed to get a tuxedo obviously, so when I googled tuxedo near me, this place at 5 stars came up and all the other shops came up with 3 stars. Yup, I know where I'm going. The owners were so personable from the minute I walked in. Asking questions about the event I was going to, guiding me in the right direction and really happy to serve me. They really know what they are doing and you can tell they really care about their business. When I came back to pick up, there was also a huge wedding party trying on their tuxes and I couldn't believe how well everyone's fit, including my own. It was all so quick and easy. My Family has always rented at Formalwear and had very good experience, however this past Monday 05/30/22 the Customer Service was horrible. I picked up Nephew's Jacket for his Prom, I explained to the individual working at store that the jacket was already paid by my Nephew. He insisted in telling me that the jacket was not paid. Did not bother to confirm if the jack was paid. He charged me again. I called Jim on Tuesday 5/31/22, Jim did not want to hear about a double charged, claimed he was busy, called him back on Wed 6/1 and Thursday 6/2 to get $$ credited. Jim very Rude/ Unprofessional did not want to hear that they overcharged. Still trying to get credit back the extra charge. Family will no longer being using Formalwear in Waltham. Jim needs to work on his attitude towards his clients when he and his teams make an error instead of being RUDE and OBNOXIOUS with...
