We have had both children take various classes (russian, math, painting and chess) at the school and are extremely satisfied with the quality of the lessons and the experience overall. Our girls learnt a lot and most importantly had a wonderful time doing so. We found all teachers enthusiastic, engaging, kind, warm and fun! We also liked having homework in russian and math and kids actually enjoyed doing it. Painting class was remarkably successful as girls created wonderful works of art that they always get complimented on. Chess class was great too as our older daughter not only improved her skills but also developed confidence to play with others. My kids have been attending Znayka for the past 8 years and I can not imagine a better place for them to deepen their knowledge of Russian, learn to read, get comfortable performing on stage and ace the math beyond their grade level. The art program (drawing, theater) deserves honorable mention because my two boys have gotten to love both all thanks to Znayka! As a bonus, we have developed a fantastic friendly and supportive community of friends both for kids and adults through this school. Both of my children attended Znayka school. My older one (now 14) started reading Russian at 4.5. All with help of Diana. The younger one started this year and we see so much improvement. We are taking Math, Russian and Art class. She is definitely improved in Math skills. She is still struggling with reading in Russian. But far ahead than where she was in the beginning of the year. A separate note about Art class. Every Saturday I impatiently waiting for her to bring a new painting. The class is simply amazing. We had no idea she can paint so we'll.
