Cardi's Furniture & Mattresses — Local services in Wareham

My wife and I recently bought our first house together and we bought all of our new furniture from Cardi’s - Wareham.

We lived in Boston and were moving to the Northern suburbs. We went first to the other big retailers near us like Jordan’s and Bernie & Phyl’s, but were were not at all thrilled with their selection, could barely find one room of furniture between them all that we both liked.

I’m originally from the Southcoast and my mother still lives there. She kept saying, have you tried Cardi’s yet. So we drove to the Wareham store. Immediately we knew we had come to the right store—-our problem then became which furniture we should choose, because we liked multiple options for each of the rooms.

We got a lot of help and consultation from their salesperson Diane and from the store manager Scott. They were awesome actually and invested a good amount of time in us explaining the differences in the line-ups on our short list. Though they were attentive, we never felt “sales pressure.” It was a true consultative experience.

We ultimately decided to make our whole house furnishing purchase through Cardi’s. The furniture was delivered on time and without any hassle. My wife was home to receive the delivery and said they were excellent. Brought everything in and set it all up right were she wanted it. A representative called us from the store later that day to check to make sure we were happy.

We’re definitely going back there in the Spring to for outdoor furniture. We highly recommend Cardi’s for its excellence in selection, price range options, customer service and delivery. They made the whole experience enjoyable and easy, and though we loved the house before the furniture—-now it is the “Home” we were dreaming about.

We spent a lot of money ( $8000) on furniture at Cardi's 1,5 years ago in a move to a new house . The more I live with and use the furniture the more disappointed I am at the experience, the quality and in fact terribly disappointed at the whole experience. Just this morning I was given the run around just trying to leave a message. When we originally received the furniture it was damaged and was missing parts - not just small issues either ( like a post to stop a king size bed sagging in the center). Now I discover that the chair that hardly gets sat on has popped a seam on the cushion , the couch that I sit on has become massively uncomfortable and I have had to add an extra thin thin lounge chair cushion on top of the cushions to make it comfortable to sit on , and the loveseat cushion that is sewn to the back of the coach has torn away from the back of the couch the stitching has come undone ...........absolutely terrible value for money. My advice - make sure you check the quality of everything you buy here - I question whether I would EVER buy anything from Cardi's again. One of the most disappointing experiences ever . I always threaten to follow up on these things and never do and have always been more than fair to suppliers ( I added a home made 4X4 to keep the bed u[p in the centre myself . I am an engineer and understand not everything is always perfect - but this is terrible. i would like one of the owners to come and have coffee and see this quality themselves...

My wife and I were looking for a recliner. We had purchased at Cardis before, so we went to the “big 3” in our area. Cardis , Jordan’s, and Bernie n Phyls. Here at Cardis in Wareham Mass., we walked in. Started browsing. Aaron Clive came over and asked if he could direct us to any particular items. Took us to the recliner area. Then we asked about reclining love seats. He took us around more. He was never pushy. At every area and item, he walked away a little ways from my wife and I, so we could sit, discuss, and try them all out as much as we needed. And when we had a question, we called him back over and he gave us very clear answers to all of them. All said and done, we told him we would get back to him as we were looking at some other stores. He said no problem and gave us his card in case we had any further questions or concerns. We shopped around those other two places. Nothing as good or as comfortable as at Cardis! Hardly any had the options WE wanted. We shouldn’t have bothered going to the other stores. But, I guess it’s always nice to know for sure. If u are looking for any furniture needs in the area, we would HIGHLY encouraged u to go to Cardis in Wareham and ask for Aaron!!! Ty Aaron for helping us pick the exact recliner just right for us! And then-!! He made sure we got any rebates we qualified for! In summary- need furniture? Go to Cardis in Wareham....
