J Andrews Salon — Local services in Warner Robins

I loved that this place had a Christian environment. I gave the rating 3 stars because I have only been there once and maybe I needed to go more to get what I wanted. Everyone is super nice and everything seemed mostly up to par for a standard salon. When it comes to did I get the cut and color I wanted? Absolutley not. I showed the stylist a picture and asked a few questions to make sure, maybe there was just a big misunderstanding on both of our ends. The bottom line is that it wasn't anywhere close to what could have been done or what I wanted.

I waited a few days; washed and styled it and I just don't like it at all. I'm actually in the middle of looking for another place to go to get it redone. Do I think you should get your hair colored and done here. YES! I have seen some great work done at this salon on their FB page and really believe they have talent. My only suggestion is to ask a LOT of questions and maybe have pictures to show the stylist.

The only reason I'm not going back now is because I would be too embarrassed to get another cut and color from here after paying so much and just getting service done about a...

Went in to get a new haircut, walked out with the same awful style I walked in with. I explicitly told her I wanted something different, had pictures for reference, the whole deal. She trimmed it dry, shampooed my hair after to style it, and I ended up with the same terrible cut, but now with so much mousse and product in my hair that it's crunchy.

I went back in to see if they would fix it, but even with the pictures, she just kept asking me to tell her what I wanted. The kicker was her telling me the the haircut I wanted wouldn't work for my hair. Except the style I asked for is one I've had for years, and I just wanted to go back to it. From beginning to end, it felt like she was more interested in just getting done with me than actually taking care of my hair. Won't be coming back.

Edit: Just got home and found that the cut is literally an inch longer on the right than it is on the left. So it's actually a WORSE haircut than I walked in with. At least before it wasn't lopsided....

Shadae does amazing work. I had an ugly brassy red tone after using an at home spray-on lightener (similar to Sun In). I hated my hair. She was very careful with my fine hair. She did a strand test before proceeding with my highlights. She had such a light touch, I could barely tell when she was touching my hair. After highlights, a toner, and a cut and style, my hair looked healthy and the color looks amazing. It also looks like I was born this way. It looks SO natural. I LOVE it. The prices are very reasonable and are posted up front when you schedule on line. I gave myself a blowout this morning after getting my hair done yesterday, and I feel like a supermodel! Haha 😄 The cut is also perfect and exactly what I wanted. I trust the ladies at J Andrews Salon to do...
