Kroger — Local services in Warner Robins

I shop here weekly so I'm a regular. I mean I love Kroger.. So all in all the corporate pricing and deals and stuff is good. But this location needs to focus on training in customer service with the entire staff in the front of the store. I sat at a self check out waiting to be checked for my ID for 6-7 minutes while there was no "self check out" attendant present. I mean even their security guard was looking at me giving me a "this is rodiculous" kind of look. On top of that their self check out is directly in front of their customer service kiosk. Both employees just stared at me aimlessly. Finally when I approached them, the one girl said "oh I'm off the clock".. But you're standing right next to your co worker who is on the clock... While in full uniform with badge and everything. And do you honestly need to be on the clock to punch my date of birth in? Not to mention she said "the girl who is suppose to be doing it is having a cigarette"... Man come on. This is horrible. This is not the "Kroger" atmosphere I know and am use to from growing up. I would expect this from a Food Depot or Giant Foods. Will continue to shop here, but wouldn't expect anything to change. Customer service is not the same anymore. One star until...

I purchased a gift card from Kroger. the total cost was close to $200.00. The card info suggest that it could be used for anything. Once I tried to pay a bill, the card could not be loaded. I contacted the Card Holder and found out the card card could not be use for paying bills.

I explained that the card info said it could be used anywhere in the USA. I then found out that the cards are coming from the Dominican Republic and that there is nothing they could do about the declined card.

Kroger is not registered with the BBB, so I could not file a complaint.

Kroger is good for purchasing faulty gift cards, as I experience this same issue a few years ago with an eBay card that I purchased from Kroger.

Kroger will not take any responsibility for any problems concerning the gift cards that they sale. Yet they continue to be irresponsible and purchase faulty cards from shady businesses.

Please be advised that Kroger on Russell Parkway in Warner Robins is selling a Visa Gift card that do not do what the written promise on the packaging...

I find this store to be a little more expensive than say Walmart however that being said I'm usually greeted and helped by many helpful people that work at this store. On this particular day I visited I was coming back to buy some plane That were standing up at the front on display not in the usual place where they have the floral department. I was only gonna get 2 and then I was going to do some shopping as I passed by the floral department of very nice young lady stopped me and told me she was about to mark those plants I had down if I could wait just a moment while she did so. I took the opportunity to go back get a larger wagon and more of the plants Upon finding out this new news of these plants being marked down almost half off.
