I’m very sadden to state that If I had the opportunity to give this location zero stars, I would in a heartbeat. My most recent visit was not only absolutely terrible, but probably one of the worst experiences I have had at any eatery. A family member and I walked in and took a peak at the menu while waiting for a cashier to appear. It wasn’t very busy at all, so it’s understandable that there wasn’t anyone there at that point in time. A female staff member did see us standing but turned around and continued a conversation. we weren’t in any type of rush so we didn’t mind. Finally someone who appeared to be manager did greet us which was appreciated. Now it was at this time that same staff member stood at the counter. we were ready and she didn’t really make eye contact. We weren’t too sure if she was ready for us so we waited with no problem at all. You would think this would be a perfect opportunity to ask “hey, are you ladies ready? Feel free to take your time” honestly anything would have been A-okay in my book compared to what follows. She gave out a big huff, flipped out her hands towards us and with a sour attitude said “ARE YOU READY OR NOT?” I was so caught of guard I really couldn’t even grasp where the attitude came from. It wasn’t just someone having a bad day, it was just nasty....From then on it was indeed awkward and we were extra kind in ordering our food, but I wish I would have saved my petty $10 dollars and took it somewhere else. The food was okay, but I will never return to this location. Ever. It’s good if you want cheap food....but if you must try the drive thru, because apparently when you walk in that’s a problem. I’m so distraught and disappointed. Especially to then standards cookout is supposed to be held to, I personally am astonished In the hypocrisy of our situation as there of course was Christian music playing (as in all...
Read moreI drove over an hour to get to this cookout (on my way to a second church service). Once at the drive through i was greeted with a welcome to cook out. After deciding on what we wanted i proceeded with saying that we were ready. The woman re said welcome to cookout. Then i told her that i wanted two separate orders but there was no response. I waited for about a minute when i decided to pull up to the drive through window. When i explained to the woman that i thought the drive through speaker was broken, that we didn't order and that no one could hear me, she looked back at another woman (i guess she was the manager) and responded that they couldn't take orders at the window you have to drive around again and place your order. I responded, you want me to drive all the around to place a order? She restated yes.
I am really disappointed with the service and cant understand why no one could have accommodated me at the window when there was no response at the drive through speaker. Sorry yo say i did not drive back around to place an order but decided to eat some where else where the staff were more a little more considerate and polite. I will not visit this...
Read moreOverall, a good visit. I marked good down a notch because they were not busy yet the burgers were thrown together. I visited on Monday, 6/30/25, around 130pm. The dining area had three small groups dining in, but was dirty. An employee was taking a break in b e best seat in the place (that far wall corner table without a window). That table seats six bit the employee was all but laying down. The bathroom was filthy. The young black lady (about 5’4”) at the cashier was super nice and friendly! The tables remained sticky or at least tacky after being wiped down and we believe it’s because the table had a lacquer or varnish on top that chemicals used to clean caused to breakdown and beat forever sticky. Overall, given the chance to eat here again, I’d chose the drive through but I do question how clean the kitchen might be given the state of the areas accessible to the general public on a Monday afternoon when they...
