I had the pleasure of working with Bill Hoke, the owner, and the Deerpath team on various construction jobs at my house and we were thrilled with the results and couldn't be happier!

From the very beginning, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs. They took the time to understand everything we were looking to accomplish and offered valuable suggestions that truly enhanced the project. Communication was always clear and timely, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

The quality of work was outstanding and Bill and his team’s reach within the industry to bring in the very best craftsmen is outstanding. Every detail on our various jobs, including a family room renovation, with new windows and a magnificent fireplace, and renovating the exterior of our house, with new siding, roof, gutters, aesthetic structural upgrades to the house and front porch, and stunning stone work, was executed with precision. It is evident that they take pride in their craftsmanship on all aspects of the job. They committed to and met deadlines and staying within budget, keeping us informed throughout the process, ensuring there were no surprises along the way.

My experience with Deerpath Custom Homes was awful. The owner was the absolute downfall of this project, not only failed to build my home, did not follow plans, stole funds from the project, became hostile and unprofessional when confronted about the unfinished work, and later filed a fraudulent lien on my property despite not completing the project. The contractor claims monies were unpaid for work that was never completed. I paid Deerpath over 120K and never got past the foundation.

There are several litigations pending regarding my claims. Based on my personal experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this company. Proceed with caution.

Bill came to us through a referral and we were delighted with our experience. We found him to be much more detail oriented and transparent than the other folks we had spoken to or dealt with and he was refreshing clear in his communication. We finished an attic space for my office and he found a creative (and really cool) way to solve our ceiling height problem that the other builder we spoke to just hadn't thought of. Similiarly in the basement, where as the other builders we brought through advised a lower drop ceiling, Bill came up with an inexpensive way to raise the ceilings and create "trays" throughout the space that actually improve the asthetic. I found him to be great at thinking through the cost/benefit of each of our ideas and guiding us appropriately. We would definitely work with him and his team again...
