Country Squire Restaurant — Restaurant in Warren Township

Dine at your own risk. A friend of mine and I have been there a number of times. She's made it clear to me she's not going back there. She has a three strike rule and they broke it.

There's always something wrong. Food's not hot enough, it's not you know what was ordered, instructions were not followed, etc etc.

This time the main grill broke. Rare? I don't know. But it was enough for us to shake our heads and say "here we go again."

Perhaps if you go you'll have a different experience, but I would double and triple confirm the order if there's a well done or light, or some other instruction where the chef needs to either know how to read, or somebody with higher IQ that can understand what is being asked needs to ensure the order is going to come out correctly.

And telling the customers that stuff is basically not being heated enough may cause concern that things are not being cooked enough. Yes! Believe it or not that's the reason we were given for why the food was not hot enough. 🤦‍♂️

So then training comes to mind. Anybody...

We visited Country Squire Restaurant for the first time and loved the food. We ordered a pizza burger, disco fries, spinach omelet with avacados, and the monkey pancakes (includes chocolate chips and banana in the pancakes). The food was really good and I usually test the quality of food at a diner based on the pizza burger which was excellent! Unfortunately we had a dirty spoon and also a piece of greenery floating in our coffee which is why we did not give a five star. Our waitress Loretta was really nice and did replace the items for us. Could have just been an oversight, otherwise would have given this location five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ because the food was really really good. Overall we will be returning and would highly recommend trying...

I don’t make google reviews often, but this one felt reasonable. I came in for dinner service, and had a very nice 71 year old server named Lisa. As we began to spark up conversation, she was demanded to the kitchen by the owner, and loudly berated with multiple profanities, with her job being threatened numerous times for all of the customer to hear. I hate to jump to online reviews, but when I asked to speak with owner to clear the air, I was denied multiple times. My server left in tears, and the owner refused to reconcile anything with his employees or customers. The food was below decent but more than anything, an owner like that does not deserve...
