Pita Grill & Creperie Warren — Restaurant in Warren Township

It’s unfortunate that while the food is good, the service has gotten terrible. Shame on me for giving them multiple chances. I had ordered from here very frequently… the hummus appetizer being one of my favorites. It comes with half a pint of hummus and a large amount of pita to share. I was unhappy when I picked this up this evening, and it came with one round pita cut in 4. Ummmmmm. Thanks for nothing? I’m glad I had some stale tortillas to eat it with. 2 weeks ago we ordered a number of platters. Some with fries and one with rice. We got the orders backward…. All the orders with rice and only 1 with fries. And 1 dinner order was completely forgotten.

When trying to talk with the workers, they continue to say, “… this is how it come” regardless if you e ordered it before and that is NOT how it came.

So(!) … take a lesson from me and either eat there, check your orders thoroughly before leaving, or order from a different Mediterranean eatery in the area. 12 Islands Greek Taverna...

The place is overhyped and the service at times is pitifully bad especially the owner and his son. They are arrogant and never apologize for their mistakes: Mistakes happen to everyone but this place in metuchen it's a routine issue. The guy has threatened his customer for harassment when sharing feedback-if you order from there check the order to make sure you receive what was asked for: They actually work hard but when it comes to being pleasant wirh customers when they are wrong or their workers make mistakes they won't apologize they threaten . We were loyal but can't pay hard earned money for food that isn't worth the $. Don't goto metuchen try warren that place is much better. We will never step foot in this owner’s restaurant. Any place that can not provide a simple small container of tzatziki or ensure that the order is correct we won’t visit. The son has actually told me he was too busy when first opened and said maybe I can go to chipotle… just so...

The food is always yummy and the service fast. Gluten-friendly. There are good deals every day of the week. Casual dining setting. Desserts are great. Most things made to order. Unfortunately, if you order gourmet crepes, I suspect they engage in bait-and-switch. Multiple times, I've ordered and paid for a crepe only to be told a minute later that they don't have all the ingredients, and ask if it's cool to switch them out. Once I was asked if it was okay to switch to an apple from pear and also to mozzarella from brie--honestly, still sounds delicious, but come on. You never want to be that customer, but when this happens repeatedly and the subbed ingredients are way cheaper but no refund is offered, it starts to feel intentional. They were super friendly about it the whole time, but not a cool pattern to experience. Still recommend them though, for all the positive reasons...
