We ordered a large cheese pizza , garlic knots and a 2 liter coke tonight. When the young man delivered the pizza and we opened the box the pizza was burnt on the bottom. Black. I called in and let them know that it was burnt , the manager said they would send a pizza with a gift card. He told me to send the pizza back but we ate some of the slices because we were hungry, hello that's why we got pizza. The young man came back , I let him know that some of the slices were eaten and I'll pay for the pizza. I did not get the gift card and I did not get my change $5 , the delivery person said he didn't have change. So I ended up paying for a burnt pizza and didn't get my change. I called to let them know my disappointment with the service and the man , I believe is Joe , starts to argue with me . I was shocked 😳 I continued to let him know I just called to let him know that the service was disappointing . It's unbelievable how people think they can treat others . He got his money and even an extra $5 but still wanted to tell me that I'm wrong for letting my children eat the pizza . No, we could not wait for another 20 mins , my kids were hungry. My family and I will never order from this company again and will not be recommending them.
He said a 5 Gift card not a free pizza. I did not give the driver a tip, tips are not required. It is not my responsibility to pay for your employees. On exceptional customer service then I'll give away money for that . There were several slices left not one , which I had posted a picture of the trashed pizza. I was not rude , I was quite monotone as Joe was the opposite. I was not trying to get pizza for free , I payed for the pizza and the burnt pizza so that comment does not make any sense. I find it hilarious that saying the customer is always right made me rude "The customer is always right" is a motto or slogan which exhorts service staff to give a high priority to customer satisfaction. It was popularised by pioneering and successful retailers such as Harry Gordon Selfridge, John Wanamaker and Marshall Field." Which Joe has no high priority of customer satisfaction. Dude you got your money and more ! And he tried to argue with me so I just kept my monotone voice and let him know the only reason for the phone call was to let him know the service was disappointing and we would not recommend or order ever ever and never again !!! I read other reviews of poor customer service and of Joe arguing and treating people poorly. Wish I would of read them sooner. I will not let anyone walk all over me or make comments that are deceitful . I was honest and I...
Read moreMay 9th 2023, Today was my second and final time at this place. I have a feeling it’s also for a older couple I watched eat. Once again my steak and cheese was wrong. First I don’t need a salad on my food. As well they forgot my tomatoes and mayo. I did get 4 tomatoes the size of a nickel. No mayo but plenty of grease. Take a look at these new photos. Grease everywhere. The kicker was this sub burned the roof of my mouth. Yes, I went to patient first right off 29 in Gainesville va. Waited 25 minutes to have the nurse say, yes, like eating a pizza that was too hot. I will be posting that once it comes from my patient portal. I would be curious if any of the cooks have safe serve training or a certificate. I will be digging into this more. As well as sending others in to check temps on food. Btw, the couple I mentioned earlier, they also talked about the food being way to hot to eat.
Update after the owners response. I did not mean to hit any nerve. I post honest opinions on what I have had. Your steak is very good quality. I said this but at the same time, it’s very greasy. It was incredibly hot. It was 220 per a heat gun when it got to my table. Most anyone who cooks knows 165/170 is tops for chicken, beef is less.
I am by far not a keyboard chef or any type of guru about food. I always give places a second and third try. I have realized that people like my reviews. When I hit over 1 million views I knew people understood I don’t have an agenda. I just try places, talk about what I eat and post honestly. I never take free food or discounted prices. —————————————————————
With so many great reviews I wanted to like this place. Everyone knows, I rate the food exactly how I see and taste it. They could have a 5 star steak sub. Here are the two issues. Way too much grease in the steak. The flavor is wonderful, yet so much grease my roll was soaked and falling apart in just a few minutes of receiving it. Second, I understand cooking the meat, but not to a temperature way beyond 220 degrees. Not only could that be dangerous. It shows the cook has no skill. One other thing, shredded lettuce should be that. Shredded, as you can see it’s whole hunks in a sub. That’s a no-no
The fries are nothing special.
The place is clean, the employees are great. I came at lunch and only 2 other customers. No pizza or food picked up. Maybe they are going through...
Read moreDisgusting. Absolutely disgusting in every manner. From entering the so called restaurant to finishing and leaving it was constant disappointment. The first thing you see when you enter is old crusty pizza sitting a dirty display. The pizza by the slice your supposed to buy from there looks like it was baked the morning the day before. This was the second time visiting this store. The first time was when it had newly opened, back then it was great with pizza makers and chefs that knew what they were doing and that cared about the customer. I don't know what happened but when I came in on Saturday May 10 at 9 pm, something had seriously gone ary. There was no hello or welcome and when we asked for a physical menu as to not break our necks staring at the tvs on the ceiling we were met with hostility and a "it's right there above you how could you miss it." We finally ordered, 2 steak and cheese sandwiches and a charcoal grilled PANINI. Now I emphasize panini, because when the order came out all the 3 were orders were nastily mashed in these untoasted hoagie breads that were soggy and apparently "Italian loafs" according to the menu. The thing is though, the chicken panini also came in that bread. We told the kid that brought the food out that they got the order wrong and that it was the wrong bread. He goes to the kitchen, comes back with the same sandwich and says "the kitchen just said italian, panini, they're the same." We were dumbfounded to say the least because even if they didn't have the panini bread they could have said "oh we ran out, sorry" instead of thinking we're idiots that don't know the difference between breads.
The second major shock was that their entire soda fountain was flat, absolutely no fizz whatsoever, and they let is purchase 2 drinks without warning us beforehand or bothering to fix the machine. We complained and they let us take bottles of soda instead bit they should have offered those before we went through the trouble of discovering their failures.
Finally, the steak and cheese I was eating was disgusting. The steak was undercooked and filled with inedible fat knots, and as I'm finishing the sandwich, I discover a hair within the sandwich. This is absolutely my last time ever visiting this restaurant. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever, not even my...
