Hello I recently shopped here for the first time. Even with all the anxiety of whats going on in the world right now. I had a phenomenal experience. Per my anxiety I usually get very uncomfortable, but it was sooooooo organized and they were all so friendly and smiling! The line was extremely long. And I stood outside for just under about 25 mins. However they had upbeat motown music on while waiting and the entire ground was marked with 6 ft striped "stand here" markings. The door man was very pleasnt, and upbeat and told me to enjoy my experience (I didnt even tell him I was a first timer) 👍 Shopping was smooth and they were stocked to the brim with every essential (and meats) . Upon check out there were yellow tape lines on the ground keeping everyone apart and at a safe distance to ensure a swift check out. They have you roll your cart to them while you remain at the yellow marked tape, and they change their gloves and sanitize before ringing out your selections. After they bag your items, they give you the okay to move to the counter to pay. I chose credit, and they step away and allow you to complete the transaction at a safe distance! After, they ask you to grab the receipt as it prints, and they send you out the door one at a time. I watched them sanitize again both the checkout counter and pinpad then themselves and change gloves again. I felt very safe and protected. It was so very incredibly safe and a great friendly experience! Upon leaving the same gentleman greeted me again and thanked me for shopping while wishing me a good rest of my day!!!! TOP KNOTCH!!!!! It's crazy times with this virus going around, but for my first time shopping with them it was wonderful. I will absolutely be...
Read moreThe thing about going to a Trader Joe's is the timing. If you go at the wrong time and expect a quick visit, you'll be disappointed. This Trader Joe's has the same problem, but can usually be managed fairly easily.
The layout of the store has the produce, dairy, meat, and baked goods sections on the outside walls of the store, with diagonal aisles for most of the processed foods, frozen goods, and household items. Floral is going to be near the entrance. The limite greeting cards will be on a wheeled unit close the cash registers. Like any Trader Joe's, the standard items are available. (Which is always a treat!)
The bathrooms are accessible and in the far left corner of the building once you enter. Depending on the time of day, there might be a line. I make it a point of trying to go to the store after dinner, or in the hours of 9 AM to 2 PM, as this is generally when people are at work or school.
The parking lot will usually have enough parking. You may have to pick a far corner spot during busy holiday times. There is a crosswalk and a sidewalk if you need to find parking a little farther away and walk there.
Going to a Trader Joe's is always a fun experience. This one is...
Read moreMy wife has finally convinced me to shop here when I am in the area. I do not necessarily understand why people freak out about how amazing this place is. It is OK. I would not travel 30 or 40 minutes away to grocery shop here. But when it is convenient I do grab the things I like.
Good vegetables and cheeses. Some unique things you may not find other places.
Staff is always friendly, and most everything I have ever bought here is good, great, or acceptable. Rarely had a bad purchase and when I have it was due to my own taste, not a bad product.
I can see shopping here if you are a couple with no kids, or single. It is not a place to stock up on food for a family of 4 or more.
Would have given 5 stars based solely on the alway friendly staff, but on my last trip I bought a grilled chicken salad and it contained no chicken. As a rule, I do not buy pre-made salads, or salads at restaurants for that matter. In this instance someone forgot to add the most important ingredient to my already expensive, pre-made salad on the one time I broke my rule. A reminder to stick to my system.
Let's get it together people 😀
Pictures of sausages. Why?...
