I went there right before the lockdown in the spring. There was an employee that refused to practice social distancing regardless of the number of times I asked them to. I finally left the store. Today (Sept 12, 2020) was the first time I ventured back, it was a very short trip. I walked in and there was who I assume was a manager at the customer service desk. I asked her if they were sanitizing the carts, her reply was a dismissive, "no you guys are sanitizing the carts" and pointed at some paper towels and a squirt bottle of sanitizer. I also noticed the line at the single register that was open. They obviously are not making any attempt to have customers social distance. I walked out. I realize that it is not mandatory for a business to sanitize their carts, however most businesses are sanitizing their carts to show they actually take the public health crisis seriously and have concern for customers. Obviously this attitude comes from the top down, so needless to say I will not be back or recommend Gordon Food Service to anyone.
