I'm a neighborhood woman who goes into this place about once a week. This is the MOST unfriendly group of employees I have ever encountered in a neighborhood establishment. No one ever smiles or says "hello" when you walk in - unlike Manhattan Market, where they make you feel welcomed and engage you in friendly chit-chat and ask how you are. This has been one of the best additions to Woodley Park! The store is very clean and well stocked with fresh produce and groceries we had not had access to unless walking at least 20 minutes away prior to it opening. It has made the neighborhood a lot more walker friendly. For any celiac's or people on gluten free or keto diets they have a huge selection of brands I don't often see unless going to Whole Foods. It’s a nice grocery store, nice staff, and nice to have something bigger than the Manhattan market. Disappointed the prices are more expensive than Whole Foods.

Carton of 6 eggs $4.69 vs 2.99 at Whole Foods. 2.19 for an avocado vs 1.69 at Whole Foods. 1.49 for cilantro vs a bigger brighter bunch at Whole Foods that cost 0.99.
