CVS Pharmacy on K Street in Washington, DC, consistently provides a reliable and convenient shopping experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. The store is well-organized, making it easy to find everything from health essentials to snacks. Their extended hours are a plus for busy city dwellers. Overall, a great local place that prioritizes customer care!

Thank you very much to the staff and the CVS because my son and I got to this location The moment they were closing and they open the doors just for us to get what we needed. We just got back from a trip and the only thing we really need it was water. Everything as a regular CVS had the prices, deal with all the products I am used to own a CVS, and the lady charged us quick.

The store is definitely not clean....dumpy is a better word. I understand it's hard to keep bugs out given the location but it's funny when palmetto bugs are so common they are basically part of the staff. Just give them a CVS bug-shirt. The two in the photos below were besties. Shelves were empty.

Never again. I am not someone who goes to corporate to complain, but I went “full Karen” in this instance.

First they didn’t have my medication, so they had to place an order for it. It took them two days to obtain it. Ok, not good, but no big deal. When supposedly they were going to have it, the pharmacy was unexpectedly closed last Friday 9/22 as well as this past Monday 9/25. I called on Saturday, and was only the informed my doctor had failed to send a diagnostic code with my prescription, therefore it couldn’t be filled until Monday when my doctor’s office reopened. Geez, I wish I had been informed about this before they ordered my medication during the work week, so I could have actually reached out to my doctor during office hours and done something about it. Monday rolls around, my doctor attempted to call their pharmacy to fix the problem, except the pharmacy did not answer. These guys were closed unexpectedly yet again!!!

It has been 6 days without my medication. At last today, I was informed they are in the process of filling my medication. The Pharmacy Tech refused to give me an estimate on when it would be ready, she just told me very tersely “You’ll receive a text message”. Like, what the heck? Getting the prescription you need shouldn’t be a part time...

UPDATE: Today is March 15, 2025. The pharmacy is supposed to be open now but it remains closed and no one in the store knows what’s going on. There are people here including myself that have been waiting for a while. This is sad and pathetic. I plan to pull my prescription from this store as soon as possible. This is the final straw.

I have mixed feelings about this CVS location at 655 K Street NW in Washington. After 15 years as a customer at another CVS I was automatically moved here when that location closed. At first the transition seemed good, but over time, there have been instances when the service at the pharmacy has been very poor here. There is one person who used to work at my previous location who continues to give excellent service, but other people have been very rude, unprofessional, and less than helpful. The most recent incident occurred today where I’ve been having trouble refilling a prescription. Please do better before I take my...

Renetta (working at 5:39 Sunday, March 13) was possibly the most horrifically rude employee to a non-English speaking customer. In the most aggressive and condescending tone, Renetta yelled (like actually yelled because other people looked over to see what was happening), “can’t you read” to the customer when they asked why they couldn’t pay with cash at self check out.

The self check out had a “No Cash” sign above it (but not in any other language). It was evident the customer did not speak English well - they were even using the Spanish mode on the self-checkout register.

I’m leaving this cvs feeling sick over Renatta’s blatant lack of empathy and willingness to humiliate a customer so quickly. All they asked for was help paying with cash. They should not have been humiliated over such a...
