The Best Friend I Didn’t Know I Had — at a Dart Bar

Let me tell you about the time I accidentally walked into a five-star restaurant cleverly disguised as a dart bar — and met Jose, the human embodiment of good vibes.

Flight Club DC is like if James Bond, your funniest friend, and a Michelin-star chef teamed up to open a bar. Plush, high-end decor meets wild tech that turns darts into a full-blown video game. But the real secret weapon? Jose.

Within 60 seconds, it felt like we were long-lost brothers — the kind that instantly roast each other, then split tacos and swap Spotify playlists. I never once looked at a menu. I didn’t need to. Jose read the room like a mind reader and delivered custom drink and food recs like a sommelier with a side hustle in comedy.

He showed up with spice blends and taco toppings like he was hosting his own Food Network show — then made pizza suggestions I didn’t know I needed in my life. Every dish came out like it had just finished a photo shoot. And the service? So attentive, it was like being the star of my own private dinner party. We were sharing travel suggestions by the end of the night.

Even the rest of the team nailed it — the person checking IDs greeted me with a “Happy belated birthday,” and the host walked me through the dart game setup like a concierge in Monaco.

Honestly, Jose should be working at a 5-star restaurant… or running it. But selfishly, I’m glad he’s here — making Flight Club one of the best nights out in DC. I will...

Flight Club is a great spot in the city for those who enjoy a little healthy competition and know how to bring all of the fun and great energy. The experience is truly what you make it. With its old-school exclusive parlor feel, the atmosphere is effortlessly low-key perfect for a night out with friends or an interactive date night.

The venue offers several dart games, each with its own challenges and competitive edge, adding a nice level of variety to the experience. While the menu is limited, its prime location puts you within walking distance of a wide range of restaurants, making it easy to grab a bite before or after your visit. We stopped by Capitol Burger, which is right next door for a guaranteed tasty bite, cool bartenders, and, of course, my favorite the pickles in a jar. Whenever you go to Fight Club ask for Jose, best server ever!! Stays calm no matter the size of your party, is friendly and personable makes sure all your needs are met. Tell Jose the Glenn family said hello when you go and thanks for holding down our large...

What a great experience! I've never been to a Flight Club anywhere so I didn't know what to expect. The overall experience was exceptional. Here are the notable points: The games are great for folks who know nothing about darts (like me) to those who are more experienced. It is fun for everyone. The food and drinks are really good! The customer service is incredible. We were served by Jose who just went above and beyond. He struck the perfect balance of giving us space but stepping in to make recommendations that we were grateful to have had. The host who seated us (I wish I could remember his name - it started with an S) was so professional and helpful that I had to ask whether he owned the establishment. We should all be so lucky to have folks who support our business who care as much as those two!

I had so much fun and Flight Club is first on my list of ideas for future events I hope to host with...

We visited this spot definitely not knowing what to expect but had a wonderful time! I love the commitment to the british darts bar aesthetic and we had 90 minutes for the three of us to play games which I think was the perfect amount of time. I was a bit skeptical of paying to play darts but honestly the various types of games that they had and the automatic scoring definitely made that worth it. Definitely a fun little activity for a date or hang with friends. The food was also pretty great, the drinks were pricey but delicious and their food hit the spot. I will say I think they need to think through their menu a little more to account for people going between darts and eating little snacks. The flatbread was a highlight but I would definitely skip the churros next time. Got far too messy for my enjoyment. Excited to come back!

We love flight club! Our group was visiting from out of town and we knew flight club was a must do having visited other locations. We came for bottomless brunch and had a blast competing in all the fun dart games. The atmosphere and high tech setup is so much fun and carnival themed. It wasn't very busy coming for brunch and the waitress was extremely attentive to our needs and made sure our glasses were never empty- truly bottomless! My dad had never been to a flight club and he had a blast. The only recommendation would be to not make a reservation right for 11am (when they open). Your reservation time is when your game time starts and you'll need a few minutes after opening to get sorted. Regardless, we had a great time!
