I have lived at the Wharf since 2018 and come to this CVS a few times a week. Everyone is wonderful and friendly throughout the entire store and pharmacy except for Cyril, one of the pharmacists. He yells at and berates me and is extremely rude and disrespectful. I have seen him act rude to other customers as well. He has no legal basis to refuse me service yet does so every time. I have to leave and come back the next day to work with another pharmacist, which I do with no issues whatsoever. The problem is clearly him. I am surprised he still has a job there after all these years; this has been an ongoing issue. All the other pharmacists are fantastic and seem to understand that Cyril is a problem; they always help me and fix everything that he has improperly put on hold in the system. Cyril is an unprofessional nightmare and a very poor reflection on the entire store and the CVS brand. I have no idea why they would continue to employ someone who yells at customers and for some reason believes that he can override a treatment decision from an actual doctor. His behavior is going to have serious negative consequences and hurt someone and I cannot fathom why CVS would continue to let him engage with customers and patients. Finally, I have already contacted the CVS customer relations team to no avail, with no acknowledgement or response from a real-life person - I assume it’s an...
Read moreYour store manager was rude and unprofessional. I was stuck at the self pay trying to figure out why the discount didn’t show up for a protein bar. She came to help, did not explain to me the discount require me to buy two protein bars. While half way explaining to me, she turn to another customer next to me to help him. I waited patiently for 15 minutes until she finished with the other customer.
When she turned around, she told me it is buy one get one free, which no sign saying that when I picked up the protein bar. I told her I already paid, she then said I have to get a refund and repurchase. And she impatiently and rudely asked me that I have to go all the way back to the end of the other line despite the fact I was waiting for her for 15 minutes right at the counter. When I asked can I speak to a manager, I was told she is the store manager. And the staff treated me rudely siding with her, and kept me waited there for another 15 minutes and finally refund me.
As a long time CVS customer frequently using the pharmacy, I’m disgusted by the whole experience.
I request you investigate this so it doesn’t happen to other...
Read moreI visited the CVS at The Wharf on September 22 and 29 to grab a few items for my hotel stay. While the location is convenient, especially if you’re staying nearby and need quick essentials, there are some things worth noting.
Pros: • Great location for travelers and locals in need of last-minute items. • Open late and within walking distance of hotels, restaurants, and the waterfront.
Cons: • The store is often busy and disorganized. Shelves are not front-faced, and items can feel scattered. • The checkout process is chaotic. While self-checkout is available, most customers avoid it, and there’s usually only one cashier, which slows everything down. • Prices are high, but that’s expected in tourist-heavy areas. Still, it would be nice to see more effort in store presentation and customer flow. If you need something quickly and you’re in the area, this CVS will do the job. Just adjust your expectations you’ll likely wait in line, pay a bit more, and find things slightly out of place. I recommend it only because there aren’t many other...
