My husband recently and suddenly died, so I was dropping off items of sentimental and valuable antiques. I asked the worker about a WW II army blanket with NO moth holes. The satin edging had been carefully restitched. They wouldn't take it. Next she started going through other stuff my boxes. She refused a fake plant and said it was dirty. I had cleaned it AND I had bought it there. She proceeded to say, spray it with a little hairspray to make it shine. Now, as a grieving new widow, I'm getting upset. Next I had a pair of snow boots, top of the line and expensive. One boot had a piece of mud the size of a dime, she refused them and said we have no way TO CLEAN items. I thought WHAT ??? they don't even give a items a cursory cleaning or disinfectant? I'm very upset now, and yell just FORGET it. A woman named Mo gets involved, and says we won't have that behavior in here. I'm crying and COMPLETELY shocked, after all, I had told them my husband just died. Shame on GRACIE'S for treating a widow with such disdain. I leave the premises and Grace herself followed me outside. I glared at her and told her to come up to my face. Only God kept me from shouting off a tirade of expletives. Instead, I gave her a hug and said God Bless you, I will be taking all my husband's Harley and STL Cardinal paraphernalia to Jacob at Jake's Legacy. Went to this store for the first time today. Found a set of lamps that had only one price on them. I take them to the front counter to check out and the lady tells me my total is 56 dollars. As I’m walking out to my car we notice the price tag on the bottom from Ross. I take the item back in tell them I’m not sure why I would pay 56 dollars for a set of lamps that cost 19.99. They told me they price things a little different here… said they would give me a refund but that was there final price. We got our refund and started walking out the door and they ripped the bottom stickers offf that was the actual Ross price. Totally crazy they would do that. If your going to price something way above the actual market price then take the “ACTUAL” sticker price off. The lady was very rude as well. Will not...

Used to go here and find cool stuff, now that management has changed and certain staff are gone they have changed their rules as to what items they'll take, being very picky and basically wanting brand new items. They won't take anything that wasn't made in the last two years. They've become stuck up and they want items that are in mint condition. unfortunately, when you're a used resale/consignment shop it doesn't work that way. Also, I didn't like Graces attitude when I was in last she was very snotty and acted like I was wasting her time with a couple of very simple questions.
