Update: I have been going back to this location now for another 30 days. In this 30 day period They have seem to figure out how to schedule their machines for red light therapy. I have spoken with regional manager and local managers and they assured me, they are working to fix the problem . I leave this update because I do believe they do genuinely care and are addressing the issue. Hard for me to raise it to a five star, because of the issues that were there. But it is much much much improved.
I have been working out at planet fitness in Washington, Missouri for three weeks now. I’ve exclusively done the 30 minute express workout and it does provide me with a good workout. However, I started using the red light therapy bed, and the Hydro lounge Ayres after my workout. You have to sign up for these services when you walk in and I do sign up for a 740, and an 8 o’clock.
At 7:41 they had already given my appointment away to another guest. This is the second time in a row. This has happened with me in the building walking towards the desk from the 30 minute express room. The woman at the counter has no explanation why they would give it away. She just said I’m sorry mistakes happen. Well that’s not good enough people are on their own schedules, and I have things that are important to me to do, so I can’t sit and wait an extra 20 minutes while someone else uses the machine that I have reserved for that specific timeslot. Shame on planet fitness in Washington Missouri. Sounds like they need some new staff with some common sense and customer service skills. Will not be back!!! Time to...
Read moreThey discriminated against me and my daughter on the spectrum I checked in and checked in my guest and had my other daughter with me that I already signed a waiver form a year ago that I was allowed to do so and Alex the new manager threatened to call the cops on me.. I've been going there and taking both of my girls to the gym I have multiple witnesses that this has been happening and they allowed me to do it signing a waiver as well she threatened to call the cops.. I feel very discriminated And without them even knowing they were looking at my daughter that was disabled and screaming at her saying that she needs to check in and they had not absolutely no idea that she was low verbal and was unable to communicate back to them.. very hateful and rude . Then they tried to sign up my daughter that's on the spectrum a membership through her adult disability insurance and they had no idea how to do it. Read moreMy husband and I have been visiting Planet Fitness Washington MO, for over a year. For the most part our visits have been pleasant. Tonight my husband and I wanted to use the tanning salon. For the first time in over a year, I was asked if I had eye wear. I thought I did however I change purses frequently and they were in my old purse. I told him I did because I genuinely thought I did. He asked for me to show him!! Keep in mind there was a lobby full of guests and I felt like he was calling me a liar in front of a lobby full of people. If that wasn’t bad enough, I go back to the bed I was assigned to, to find a dirty bed! I think all of this could have been handled way different and I’m contemplating canceling not only my but my husbands membership as well. I wish I asked for the “gentlemen’s “ name but I didn’t, he was the only one wearing a black planet fitness polo and seemed to be more excited about discussing what he and his buddy would be ordering from door dash then cleaning equipment for new guests!
