The Creek Grill & Sports Bar — Restaurant in Washington

Once a month at my place of employment , the company buys all the employees lunch, which was last Saturday . If an employee was not working that day they get to have their lunch another day. So, today I called The Creek and placed an order for them. We are tax exempt and the girl who took my order said “yes we do tax exempt “. Great. After about 15 minutesI went to pick it up and was met by a rude and nasty obnoxious man with a loud voice, who proceeded to tell me that they didn’t do that and it was not right. Surprised, what are you talking about? He said, You can’t buy your lunch and use tax exempt. I tried to tell him it was lunches for employees and the company was paying for it. I also told him that we have had our employee Christmas dinner there several times. He said, that’s different. I’m like no, it doesn’t matter what or how much my bill comes to , tax exempt is tax exempt. We had an awesome server at the creek, but they have many things they are false advertising. First we we told after we got the bill the prices on the menu are cash only. If you pay with credit card it is extra on each meal. Most places have signs that do this, but this place has nothing showing anywhere that I saw. Second we ordered kids menus for over 8 dollars a piece that came with a “drink”. Most places are 5-7 dollars for kids meals. We ordered one of the kids a milk and was charged because milk is not a kid approved drink according to the creek. Most places charge for refills but not the first one that comes with the meal. Kids that young should not be drinking soda. Last when I called to inquire about it the woman used a very inappropriate tone of voice and just told me that they would let the owner know. I would not recommend this place, especially for a family. We spent way too much money for what we received, it is one of the most expensive places for what...
