China King — Restaurant in Washington

I placed a 1:45 take-out order for Valentine's Day of 2 dinner size General TSO's chicken, extra sauce, shrimp egg rolls and crab rangoon. The chicken was tough and it had a different taste as did the extra sauce. Was the chicken leftover from lunch? The egg rolls and and crab rangoon were OK. We've ordered this identical meal in the past here and at the Union, MO location and have enough for leftovers. This time the leftovers went in the trash which I hated doing since the total meal was over $53 without the tip. The clerk who took my money wasn't the least bit friendly, where an employee who had just finished her shift was very friendly as she left for the day. Awesome restaurant. I went there today on a date, and we both ate for around $20. Thats the total, for Two mains and an Appetizer. Good deal! Come around lunch for the best deals. The food came out so fast, and it was hot, fresh, and so tasty! The menu is a lot, but you can't really go wrong, whatever you order.

The restaurant was kind of busy, but then it cleared out. It was just me and her in the dining room. But the cooks were still busy in the back, and people would come and pick up take out food.

I gotta say, these guys have a good business. I appreciate them being here. If I had to give any critique, I think the fork I ate with was pretty terrible. Next time, I'll use chopsticks! They...

The food is pretty good, but we felt we were being rushed. The server even grabbed my plate without asking, and I wasn’t finished eating when she slapped my bill down. The other two people with me felt the server had been staring at them, which may or may not be true. I did tip because I know servers don’t make much. In hindsight, maybe I shouldn’t have. The biggest mistake she made was taking my plate without asking. But, oddly enough, she also kept asking me if I wanted more to drink when my glass was 3/4 full. It was just strange.
