Starbucks — Restaurant in Washington

TLDR: Normal Starbucks experience but if you are looking for a place to get work done the public WiFi is some of the worst in the area.

Food and drinks are your standard Starbucks experience and the staff is lovely. However I came here to get some work done and download a small program while my WiFi is being worked on at home. From prior experiences and research I knew starbucks locations are supposed to have amazing public WiFi… yet when I connected I could barely browse the internet it took upwards of 30 seconds to load search results. so I ran a WiFi test and the results were laughable at best. The connection is what you would expect from a 2000s Internet cafe the small download I needed to do was going to take me 18 hours with only 3.5mbps. I moved to bread co down the road and got 120mbps l and my download was completed in 30 minutes. Typical Starbucks for the location. This is the only Starbucks in over 20 miles. Their service is ok, but not the greatest. If you live in Franklin County and need to go, this is your only option beyond independent places which aren't really any better. Having lived in the suburbs of Seattle for many years prior to moving here, I suppose my perspective could be off a bit. But back there they knew how to make their drinks and did so quickly. Multiple times now I have stood in line for 10 or more minutes just to be told that they are out of ingredients to make a drink. Today I would’ve like to get the new gold and ginger drink but I was told they were out of coconut milk and cannot make any of the new drinks however all drinks were being displayed on signs above the counter and in front of the counter. A sign that said sold out it should have been on those signs so people were not sitting in line for nothing this needs to stop happening peoples time cannot be wasted just to be told that they cannot...
