If i could give 0 I would. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. Wanted to share a traumatic experience I just had with this company. I am a single mother. I do the absolute best I can for my daughter and I. I don’t get child support. Our only income is that I get from my job. I needed a washer so I went here to get one. With the holidays and my daughters birthday being a month apart, money is really tight. My last check was only enough to pay my rent. I planned on paying them when I get paid Wednesday. I ALWAYS make my payments, maybe late, but I do my best. Should I have communicated better about my financial situation? Absolutely. But is the way I was treated, which I will explain below, justified? I was at work and got a call from the work phone from my sister that people were banging on the door saying they were going to come in. She is 16 years old, and they were 2 GROWN men. She called me freaking out so I left work and head to my house. As soon as I got there I asked them why they were harassing my 16 year old sister. I was absolutely infuriated!! I understand you have a job to do, but if a child tells you they are a child who doesn’t reside at the location, you stop. There was no stop in sight. They proceeded to make fun of me for “being mad” because I didn’t make my payment. Because I’m broke and can’t pay a bill. I explained that I am a single mother who tries her best, and they made fun of me for living in public housing. I told them to please just get the washer and leave. Once they got the washer disconnected, they said they don’t know how to turn the water off, good luck. They left with the water running all over my laundry room and flooding. Police were called and a report was made, everything is documented. I called the store manager and told her how I was treated, no sympathy. You didn’t make your payment. I told her how money has been tight and that she knows I always make my payments, how did i deserve this treatment? I told her how they made fun of me for being a single mom who can’t pay her bills and lives in public housing, and explained that most of the people who go to them for business, go to them because they’re in similar situations like me! Being a single parent is exhausting! Sometimes you need help so you go to these businesses who claim to be a place you can go to during hard times. And I will say prior to this, my experience with them has been amazing! I am shocked and baffled that the two men at my house today work at the same place I’ve been renting stuff from for over a year. I added a photo of the conditions the employees left my home in.

If I could give them a lower rating I would, this rent a center and the one on oak spring road. We first went to the one on oak spring road and they were incredibly nice, we picked out our couch and we were to have it delivered the next day. Well the next day two unqualified men comes to deliver our couches. It was raining outside, they took both of the couches out, started bringing one in and left the other sitting out in the rain. Well they couldn’t fit the couches in our place so in that process they damage our walls and cracked our ceiling. We went back into rent a center that day and spoke to the manager Mike about the issues. He apologized and told us that he would take care of the damages, yet we still have damages. Well he decided to come himself a few days later with a guy from another store and they still couldn’t get it in our place and busted an overhead light. Now we have to go back to rent a center and pick out a different couch. This time we chose a sectional. He told us once again he would take care of the first two weeks of our payments and told us that our price of this couch will just be the price of the couch we wanted since this couch was so much more expensive. They were to deliver the couch on a Thursday around 3. We received a call saying they were unable to get it to us, well we weren’t too happy about that. So they asked whoever from the other store to deliver it and then proceeded to tell us that he’s transferring all of our information to that rent a center, without even asking. Here we are today and they are claiming we are 5 days late on our payment which we are not. It clearly states on our CONTRACT March 23 is the date of our first payment. So instead of bickering with them ONCE AGAIN we are giving the couch back to them because we do not want anything from lying people. If you want great furniture with great people I DO NOT SUGGEST rent a center at either location in...

They gave me the wrong bedframe and then they up the price and it was a smaller price ..and then made it to where I have to keep it ...and didn't show no concern whatsoever ...Then my friend was at the store to pay her bill with my children and my children overheard one of the workers talking about me not wanting the frame etc... And I was told that my children was lying about what they heard ... But yet my children heard my Name from a stranger and I wasn't even there ..then the night stand came with a thing that charge your phone and I was told I had to install it myself ...and the whole time the workers was putting the bed together they were talking about how this might not fit and that i might have to put my dresser together myself ...I let them know Im not putting anything together ..they can take it back if it's like that and then one of the workers was trying to hurry to get to his baby momma so they did a rush job ....it really wasn't a pleasant...
