Lobby Entrance Doors--------- Should remain locked and not unlock as you approach it even during daylight hours.
Parcel Room ---------- Should remain locked and not left wide open, unless a resident has a code or shows ID to match the box they are retrieving.
Iāve been a resident at this property long enough to say that while the building itself is decent and the weekday concierge staff is consistently professional, the experience takes a sharp nosedive every weekend due to the behavior of the woman who works the front desk on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. I am leaving this review not out of frustration alone, but because I believe others considering living here deserve to know the full picture.
To be completely honest, the weekend concierge is by far the most disrespectful and unprofessional person Iāve encountered in a customer facing role. From the moment you walk up to the front desk, itās as if your presence is a burden to her. She refuses to make eye contact, never greets residents, and carries an openly agitated demeanor that sets a very unpleasant tone the moment you enter the building.
Iāve had multiple encounters with her where she has snapped at me for asking simple questions or even ignored me entirely until I had to repeat myself. When she does respond, itās with a dismissive, condescending tone full of attitude and complete lack of care. There is never any warmth, not even basic courtesy. She gives the impression that she despises her job and resents anyone who needs assistance.
Worse still, she takes her time doing even the simplest of tasks. Thereās no urgency or respect for the fact that residents often have places to be or time-sensitive needs. She moves at her own pace, and it feels very intentional almost as if sheās trying to prove a point or show you whoās in control. It's an incredibly frustrating experience when you're met with resistance or indifference over something as simple as a package inquiry or visitor access.
Iāve also witnessed her treat other residents the same way rude tone, unhelpful responses, and a complete lack of basic professionalism. Itās not just me. This is a recurring problem that clearly stems from her attitude, not the residentsā behavior.
In sharp contrast, the weekday concierge staff is everything you would hope for friendly, helpful, efficient, and respectful. They represent the property well and make living here a more positive experience. Itās baffling how management allows such a glaring inconsistency in service to persist between weekdays and weekends.
Frankly, itās unacceptable that the property would continue to employ someone with such a hostile approach to customer service. A concierge is often the first point of contact and should embody professionalism, reliability, and basic human decency none of which are present on weekend afternoons.
Because of this individual alone, I am forced to give this property a one star review. One bad employee may seem like a small issue, but when that employee is the face of the building for two full days every week, it has a major impact on residentsā daily lives and overall satisfaction.
I strongly urge management to take this seriously and replace her with someone who actually wants to be there someone who understands that this is a service role and treats residents with the respect...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBoth the Grace and Reva are beautiful buildings with amazing amenities. The gym at Reva is to die for!! Also, I can't say enough great things about my leasing agent, Kevin, who gave me a wonderful tour of both buildings and assisted me with the leasing process. He was so accommodating, kind, and welcoming. Looking forward to joining this community soon!
11/7/24: Update since moving in I have now been living here for almost 6 months so I feel itās a good time to update this review considering there have unfortunately been multiple issues. For context, I moved here from out of state for work, and was paying half the price for rent at my previous apt with literally none of the problems Iām about to mention (and I lived at my previous apt for 3 years).
Way too many HVAC issues. Since the very first day I moved in, Iāve had recurrent issues with not having hot water or A/C. Some of these events were not specific to my apt and involved the whole floor or sometimes the whole building. Something positive is that the maintenance staff has been great and efficient with fixing these issues. However, as you can imagine, it is highly inconvenient to have them in the first place. Especially multiple times.
The leasing office and front desk staff are not very responsive. The front desk was responsive (albeit sometimes very rude) with answering calls in the beginning but not so much anymore. And the leasing office has never responded to any of my calls. Iāve never received a call back anytime Iāve let messages voicing my concerns either. Never.
For the service Iāve received thus far and the many issues Iāve had, this place is very overpriced. It is in a very convenient location, my apt has amazing views, the gym is nice, but thatās all I have to say as far as positive things. I was really excited to move here and Iāve just unfortunately not had the experience I was hoping for, especially considering the price. Iām not planning to renew my lease at this point.
*10/28/25: Update Doing my due diligence by providing another update. I was not able to move out like I wanted to, as mentioned in the above update, so I renewed my lease in July 2025. BUT, things have gotten a lot better. I also did receive a kind response from the manager after my last review. There has been maybe a couple of maintenance things still, but the maintenance staff remains very consistently efficient and pleasant to work with. The front desk staff has had some changes for the better. The new staff are much more pleasant to talk to and helpful with questions. I do still think the apartments are overpriced, but I very much still love living in this area and I'm hoping things will continue to remain the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately I didnāt have Kevin Ward as a leasing agent (see other reviews), so I wonāt be able to provide 5 stars based on my experienceā¦I toured both properties I believe a couple of weeks ago now, and overall I was like okay, youāll pay extra for views. In comparison with similar new high rises, the finishes in the units are cheap. Especially the cabinets. Over time they wonāt hold, especially if residents are rough but it is what it is. Aside from that, I had a very unfortunate interaction with the garage attendant after my tour of the Reva. Basically the garage is fob in, fob out so if you donāt have a fob (I.e., non residents), you have to request someone let you out. I called assistance, asked to be let out. The guy decided to play a game of āwhy should I let you outā with me, a game I didnāt ask to play. So his game was āsay the magic wordsā. I didnāt realize that I had to beg and say I was in the leasing office, pplllllleeeeeeeeaaaaasssse let me out I BEG of you. But thatās what he wanted. Long story long, once I was released from car jail, I called the front desk where I spoke with a woman who I can only assume doesnāt get paid enough to care about future resident problems. She fakes caring about my situation, says sheāll report the interaction to management, and claims someone will contact me about the whole thing. Fast forward to now, I havenāt gotten a THING from the building since Iāve toured, not a hello, not a are you still interested, not a our garage assistant is a jerk (which he is). Saying all of that to say I made clear that interactions like that will change my mind about where I want to stay and pay thousands of dollars a month. So I wonāt lease here. But you all donāt come out of garbage unscathed. Your front desk has officially lied to me TWICE about saying she will handle something and then nothing was resolved. If she doesnāt get paid enough, I suggest she finds a new job where sheāll get paid the amount she needs to actual follow through and not lie. Itās making you...
