The Good Stuff Eatery leaves much to be desired in living up to itâs namesake. The minute we walked in, not only were we not greeted by ANY of the approximately 7 people employed, but when we finally made steps to place an order, I seriously felt like I was annoying the disinterested young (Caucasian) man at the counter having to take the simple orderâwhich he actually messed up anyways! The mistake, partly mine for even ordering the atrocity of a hamburger, which he made was to not hold the vegetables as I didnât want themâI stated it twice and which he repeated back to me once (it even said it on the receipt, which tells me there is zero quality control at the establishment). At least two employees (African American male and female) were taking personal phone calls and/or using unprofessional language at the front counter. The only reason I gave this restaurant the second star (and I only did that because the system will not allow zero stars to be applied to where I would only need to provide them one) was because of the toasted marshmallow milkshake (and in all honesty, they should stick to this as their primary lane and lose the meatsâIâll go into that next) which I found to be above average. The french fries were completely underwhelming, partly raw and yet soggy, small dregs/leftover-sized, and overwhelmingly over-seasoned with thyme, rosemary, and sea salt. To top it off, the Farmhouse cheese burger which I expected to be phenomenal for the price, lacked properly toasted undersides of the buns which would have fortified against the soggy mess the burger became quite quickly, included a bunch of vegetables I previously noted that I did not desire to have at all, and the beef patty was pretty skimpy for the class standard of burger this was supposed to be. The whole establishment struck me as a higher-priced, slightly upper-class Five Guys knock-off, without meeting the same standards Five Guys is known for. This was our first time to this establishment, and I can assure all interested that as a new resident of the region, this will be one restaurant that will not be in my rotation... ever. They lost a customer (x2), hope theyâll take heed of this and get it together for...
Read moreBig Stuff Bacon Meltdown $9 (4/5 NOMs). Its double the meltdown. Double patty, double cheese and lots of bacon? Yea, so ordering this! I love all the cheesey goodness in there. Meat was very flavorful, butI kind of wish there was more bacon. I think it got overpowered by all the cheese. I have to try it again.
Sunny's Handcut Fries $4 (4/5 NOMs). They are so happy. At first I wasn't sure if I liked these fries. I thought there was a bit too much sea salt, but in the end I really enjoyed them. Just got to toast them around a bit to spread the salt. They went great with their amazing assortment of condiments like mago mayo and sriracha mayo No burger can go without these nomnom fries.
Onion Rings (5/5 NOMs). No burger can go without some side onion rings and french fries. I really enjoyed these onion rings. They were not too greasy and went great with their amazing assortment of condiments like mango mayo and sriracha mayo. Who has sriracha mayo??? They were very nice and gave us the recipe for this amazing mayo
Salty Caramel Kiss Shake $6 (4/5 NOMs). Very caramly milkshake, I didn't think like I was getting any kisses, but still enjoyed it. You can never go wrong with caramel. I didn't really taste the salty part, but was not a big deal breaker for me.
Toasted Marshmallow Shake $6 (4/5 NOMs). You know me, I just must order anything that sounds unusual. This did not disappoint. Very weird and good milkshake order. I'm not sure if I really tasted the marshmallow, but still enjoy the milkshake. I will have to try it again to reconfirm. They did make a mistake and accidentally gave me Vanila Milkshake $5 instead. They were very quick to fix the mistake and gave me incorrect milkshake for free. So I got two for price of one. I liked the Vanilla Milkshake, and not just because it was free. You can never go wrong...
Read moreI just have dinner there for the first time and I think will be the last . The shake (Oreo) was very good the burger ok . But the fries were a total mess. Soggy mushy very very greasy and no even hot and just to be clear I was dining in, I hadto return them the second one were a little better and at least were hot. I means it is a total waste offer in house hand cut to get that terrible fryes. I also ordered the fried chicken sandwich and again it was warn and super dry and I think this because they pre fry their chx and throw it in a container next to fryer which is not a proper container for held hot foods, in fact looked like a container to go were the place the chicken after pre fry them. When I said something about it to one of the staff his answer was âthat is how we do it, we pre fried them and when somebody order one we drop it on the fryer againâ . I donât think this never happened with mine and I also think thatâs not the proper haccp for that them . Again I was dining in, I waited for the order around 12 minute at least give me fresh chicken. The 2 star âď¸ is for the shake Than was...
