Their subs are usually good, however more recently we have been a bit disappointed. Me and my co workers (there is 4 of us) are gluten free and always get their gluten free wraps which of course they charge you extra for but it’s understandable.
There has been several times in our more recent visits, where they didn’t wrap then very well and made them literally impossible to eat or enjoy, falling apart and everything falling out. However, when they do it right, everything stays together down to the last bite.
The combo of club is our favorite, the rest are okay to mediocre. The biggest dislikes is the avocado on the turkey wrap, which is a guacamole and if is always funky. I’m not a fan of the hot pastrami on a wrap, perhaps it is better in a sub, but it comes out a terrible, almost slimy texture on the gluten free wraps. Besides that most of what is on the menu is decent.
Like I mentioned before, all 4 of us get the gluten free wraps when we go here, even when I take my little ones we get the gluten free wraps, however every time we have gone in lately they have been out of stock. It’s been many, many weeks now. Kind of a waste of the trip there.
The last time we went the gal said they could do a lettuce wrap instead. I said okay, until I saw she was going to charge me 2.99 extra! I pointed it out to my co-works on the screen. I asked about it and she said “yeah, we charge for that!” My co-worker pointed out it was lettuce though. (Even a regular wrap costs more than a few leafs of lettuce) so why charge extra? We declined and went elsewhere, where we have made our new regular Monday, Wednesday, Friday spot.
Thanks for all the wraps in the past anyways...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Krazy Moose Subs, and I must say it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was something special.
First and foremost, the sandwich I ordered was a true masterpiece. It was evident that they use only the freshest ingredients, as every bite was bursting with flavor. What really impressed me was the perfect balance they struck in the sandwich. It wasn't soggy, and every component worked harmoniously together to create a mouthwatering experience.
Beyond the exceptional food, the service was top-notch. The staff was not only fast and efficient but also incredibly friendly and helpful. They made sure I had everything I needed and even offered some great recommendations from their menu. It's clear that they take pride in providing not only delicious food but also a welcoming dining experience.

Has there been a management change? Or at the very least a change in quality of ingredients? We just drove in from anchorage to get dinner and we were given what seemed to be a traditional Krazy moose sub, but what was inside was sub par ingredients, cheap fatty bacon, cheese that resembled kraft, deli meat downgrades, watery tuna. Total disappointment.
I've never not finished a 10 inch sandwich. Until today. Subway 5 minutes away could have been a better choice.

My girlfriend and I love Krazy moose! We make a trip from Anchorage every so often.
This is a family owned resteraunt that serves boars Head deli meats and cheeses on their sandwiches. Everything I've tried had always been fresh and tasty. They have a variety of hot and cold sanwitches and are sure to have something to excited your taste buds. They also have a condiment cabinet with tons of different mustards, BBQ sauces, and hot sauces to top off your sandwich.
Their staff is always polite and attentive. I've seen this place packed with no seats left, including the upper mezanine. I've also seen it dead. I think this is due to the weird schedule they keep because of it being a family business they are closed odd times and holidays.
