I thought for a very long time whether to write/post this review and after some thought I decided that parents should know about the experience I had with Dawn and my 7 month old baby girl. So, I decided to pierce my daughter's ears and called the store to make an appointment. The woman that I spoke with was very nice, so I made the appointment. The entire procedure was done by Dawn. First, she made dots on both of the ears with a marker to mark the spot to pierce and then she pierced both ears. Unfortunately, one of the pierced ears are was completely uneven. I noticed this immediately and raised it to Dawn, however she claimed that the earring does stick out strangely, however it will return to the correct position after few days. When I came home the same day and looked more carefully, I noticed the earring was not on the dot, which she marked. As you can see from the picture, it is more at the bottom compared to the other ear and the earring is also sticking out. She said again to wait few more days and confirmed that everything will be just fine. In the evening, I took pictures to prove to her and also my family members also agreed with me that the earring was uneven. When I emailed her, she said that my baby has uneven ears and she had pierced the earring perfectly. It made me very sad. I went to the doctor to confirm whether my little daughter had uneven ears and the doctor definitely disagreed with her. He claimed that there was no reason to do so because her ears were perfect fine! I called her and said I wanted her to see her. When I came to the store the 2nd time , she still insisted that my baby had uneven ears and she wasn't so nice to me anymore. She wanted to do the procedure one more time. I did not know what to do as my child cried a lot and I knew it would be a trauma for her to have her ear pierced the 3rd timeI also have to admit that Dawn has long nails which did not make this procedure any easier for the 7 month old baby. She doesn't have the right approach to children at all. My child was very scared and cried and Dawn just wanted to pierce the ears without comforting her. That day I took off my earring and we made an appointment for the 3rd piercing. I also found out that for her mistake I will still have to pay one more time, which was extra $40. It wasn't my fault and it is not my child's fault and I still had to pay! Terrible customer service. Nobody was nice to me anymore! I am almost 40 years old and she treated me like I’m a teenager with a child, who doesn't know what to do. Dawn kept in mentioning that she has many years of experience and knows what she is doing. The day of the 3rd piercing, she treated me like it was my fault! I paid $ $100 for unevenly pierced earrings plus an extra $ 40 for her mistake. I don’t even want to think that she tried to convince me that my child has unequal ears. Parents please - consider this place before you decide to go with a little kids unless you want to pay twice or hear that your child has uneven ears. There are many more places where they'll treat you better. Everyone makes mistakes, it was enough to just admit it, to be kinder and I would really feel better and we would come to some sort of...

I have been a customer of Marie's Jewelry since I was in high school. I have made more purchases there than I could ever count. The most important purchase was my wife's engagement ring. They found exactly the type of ring she wanted. Then SEVERAL years later when my wife was moving a safe she smashed her hand against the safe and bent the prong which caused the diamond to fall out. (User error nothing was wrong with the ring before that.) She brought the diamond to Marie's where Dawn assisted her. Dawn was attentive and explained the entire process to repair it. Also, while it was being repaired Marie personally called my wife to update her. Not only did the ring get repaired in a very quick fashion they checked all of the prongs to ensure all of the diamonds were secure. When she got it back the ring looked as good as new!!!
