National Pawnbrokers Outlet of Waterford — Local services in Waterford Township

I have been going to National Pawnbrokers for almost 20 years. They have always been great to me. I have bought many different things from them....jewelry to guns to electronics and always been happy with my purchase. One thing I learned is that sometimes they may not have repriced things in the store if the prices have gone down...but if you let them know...they will work with you. I have been in there recently and they have almost a whole new staff and manager and are even better to work with!! I will keep going to them and hope you will too!!!

This place charged me near 100% interest after missing the cutoff for the first month. They take advantage of their customers with their interest rates. Also the said they have to hold your item for 15 days by law, which is a lie, no other pawn shops require a 15 day hold. Having this 15 day hold, requires you to pick up your item within another 15 days. If you fail to do so, plan on paying a 100% interest rate. Do yourself a favor. Do not go to this place, if you are desperate and do decide to do business with these crooks, plan on regretting ever...

Interest rate is 60% depending on how "desperate" you look. I was told 15% but it wasn't written down ANYWHERE even after i got my stuff back. Asked for a receipt and they told me "the stuff you got back is your receipt" I've pawned other things there and get a different rate every time. Never truly noticed until i paid $40 on a 30 day $25 pawn. Also they wont let you get your things back for 15 days which they say is Pontiacs rule but no other pawn place (even in Pontiac/Waterford) does that. Long story short, interest rates aren't the same...
