El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Watertown

What happened to this place!? Not the same employees they used to have and everything seems so chaotic and not handled well. Every time we get takeout some thing is missing or not right. This past weekend spent $130 on takeout food and employee arguing with me that they gave me the cheese sauce, which they never did came out to my car wanted to go through my food again didn’t believe that I didn’t get my cheese sauce. Well, got home no cheese sauce! Such a disappointment how things are handled at this place. Food had no taste and spend all this money in portion. Size is completely different. Miss the old employees and manager here not quite sure what happened but will be taking business and menu. Prices always. seem to change every time we do take out. Upcharges for takeout keep going up

Love this place. Dine in or carry out, everything is always delicious and served hot/fresh! The chips and salsa are so good and their guac is just as yummy. Service has been good and never really had any issues. Take out food that we have had is always correct and still hot when we get home to enjoy. Staff is friendly and helpful with food suggestions. They will even make things the way you like, just ask! We love the Watertown location just because it's a big larger...

Food was good but they are cheap which poor customer services.

I ordered a Super Mucho Grande Quesadilla which comes with a cheese sauce. I could only eat half.

At the end of our meal I pointed to the cheese sauce that had come in a small plastic ramekin and asked him "para llevar" thinking he was going to put a lid on it since is was about 1/2 full still but instead he brought me a $5.00 bag of tortilla chips and a large side of cheese sauce.

I told him I did not want the chips and cheese sauce and they took it off my bill.

I shared with him that I wanted a small side of cheese sauce to take home since I had half of my lunch left and they threw away what was left of the cheese sauce that came with me meal.

He inducted it a side of cheese sauce was going to cost me $2.00.

I refused to pay $2.00 when he threw what was on my plate away which I asked him to prepare it to take home.

Is a small side pf cheese sauce worth making a patron upset and not interested in coming back Hope they are happy with...

I had the opportunity to take my family to El Mariachi. It was a pleasant visit. It was about 6:30pm on a Wednesday. We were met with a smile and seated right away. It was actually kind of a different experience having dinner here vs having lunch. We had about 3 waiters/waitresses, waiting on us. One person would take our drink order. While they were getting our drinks someone else would bring us salsa and chips. Then the next waiter would pop in and take our order.

Overall it was a great experience. The food is always amazing and didn't take long to get, maybe 20 minutes for 2 adults and 3 kids.

There were 2 birthday's there while we were there, they had a cool little song and put a sombrero on your head to celebrate your special day.

My only suggestion would be getting the bill a little sooner than we did. If were asking for to go boxes, that mean were ready to go. 3 young kids is pure chaos to try and contain in confined spaces when we're trying to leave. I should have to ask for my bill, it's an...
