Comics, Cards, and Collectibles — Local services in Waterville

We just found our new comic book store! For a new business (recently opened) they've got a lot to offer! If you're a total geek/nerd (like me and my family), or just a fan of comics in general this is definitely a good place to go! Not only do they have just about every comic imaginable, Danny and his son are very knowledgeable and can answer just about any question you have. And if you want to have any sort of conversation about comics, plan on staying a while because they definitely know their stuff. They helped me out by suggesting a new series of comics based on what I like to read - and they got it just right! I collected comics for decades before I had to stop to spend my money on my kids and house. I'm still lured in to any comic shop, but for the last 20 years or so it seems most comic shops have only newer comics and are tiny places that don't hold much interest for me. This store is different. Cleaner than any I used to go to, very organized, and with a huge inventory of old comics, ranging from the golden and silver ages through the present. The atmosphere was comfortable. I wandered around for probably an hour looking at old and new comics, toys and knickknacks, and graphic novels, with no pressure at all from the woman up front, who was bagging comics. Read some of the reviews and some of them talked about his prices.. yall need to get real. Small businesses can't survive on "great deal" prices. It's 2023 and living is expensive in general, let alone running a small business. You want a good deal - go to a thrift store lol. You want a store with a great selection and fair prices - this is the place. Walked in with my collection of Funkos looking to trade for some comics or figures and that's exactly what I was able to do. I was very happy with the store credit I was offered and what I was able to walk out with.
