I’m very disappointed in my experience at Nails by Liz. The salon itself is a cute little shop, but the service was extremely lacking. When I went in to get my nails done, my mother and I showed Liz the photo reference of exactly what I wanted, we even put the picture right in front of her while she worked. Instead of doing the smoky marble French tip in the photo, she gave me a basic brown French tip with no nude-pink base underneath, which made them look more like press-ons than acrylics. She then asked if I wanted glitter so they wouldn’t look “so basic,” which confused me even more. After leaving the salon, I was so upset I came home crying. I messaged her respectfully and professionally, showing her the picture I asked for versus what she did. At first, she offered to redo them, but then she told me I would have to pay an extra $10 because, in her words, “the design isn’t marble, it’s just plain brown.” That’s simply not true…anyone can see from the photo that it’s a marble effect. During my appointment, she was also on the phone for most of the time and barely paying attention to my nails, which likely contributed to the mistake. I felt unheard and dismissed from start to finish. It’s disappointing to see a business handle a situation like this so unprofessionally, especially after I remained calm, kind, and understanding. I didn’t want to have to leave a review like this, but after being told I’d need to pay extra for a mistake that wasn’t mine and being made to feel like what I saw “wasn’t really marble,” I felt it was necessary to share my experience. If you’re looking for someone who truly listens to what you want and pays attention to detail, I would not recommend this...
Read moreHuge price $166 for gel on toes, cats eye, pedicure, and acrylic set the first time which all had come off completely the first 8 days and when I complained she had me come in for a new set which she said was free or I wouldn't have come in for a second d set, and those were dipped and 2 have fallen off at day 6 She argued with me about having said they were supposed to be free , and when I showed her a pic of the day they had all come except for the middle finger, which she had to reglue for me 7 days into thos first set, was going to charge me for the second. Then she came down to half price, until I showed her a date stomped pic of them all off but the one then she showed me away with the wave of her hand saying, "I let you go" and now here I am not even a full week into this new set and THREE are already off. I won't be back. She told me she was going to instead charge the young woman who did my nails the first time the price she was going to charge me. I feel bad for this woman.... and now I have amateurly done nails the second time. No. I was hassled and treated rudely. Liz, "I WILL NOT be back"... sad. It had great potential. But if they will not stand by their product, $166 nails shouldn't have come off after 8 days for the first set and now 6 days for the second. THIS is just not quality. ...
Read moreHad a great experience here! Took under an hour to do a fill and it turned out great. All of the nails are the same length, they’re not lumpy, and the polish wasn’t messy! The phone was also ringing off the hook, which shows how much people like the place and want to book. I would def come back if I’m ever in the area again. Already recommended...
