They will get a one because overall they were friendly even if the things they said were lies. I bought a full Suite of appliances from East Town under the impression as told by the salesman they would support their sales unlike the box stores. My dishwasher broke after 3 years and by no means were bottom of the line appliances bought here. The parts that broke weren't covered by warranty and neither Maytag or East Town would support replacing the $100 worth of parts needed. Was told by the sales staff the parts were covered than called back by service and told they weren't! Also told by service that appliances were only expected to last 5 years and that is with work required, beyond regular cleaning and maintenance! Funny how the sales staff expected life was 10 years with no maitenance costs. First get your story straight! Second support your small town sales because we are your community! Third to everyone reading please buy your appliances elsewhere! They will be hundreds of dollars cheaper and you will get service that is the same or better. From my experience stay away from Maytag too! Have a family member who bought a full suite of GE and they have supported him above and beyond what sad customer service Maytag provided. Unhappy with the design of all my appliances and the customer service. The oven got a fly in the interior clock,oven vents out to the knobs for the stove, the gas gets bumped on, on a regular. The refrigerator buttons are hard to activate. Everyone I know who was has the Maytag washer and dryer hates them. East Town is a shame and I will no longer be supporting. The service also mentioned I should have bought an extended service agreement which I was never offered nor was it suggested.    Read moreMy husband and I have purchased no less than 5 appliances from East Town. We have been very pleased with the products and sales staff. However, we recently purchased an Electrolux refrigerator. We selected a higher end unit to be sure we were happy with the product, its dependability and its options. About a month after delivery, the water and ice dispenser quit working. this was the start of what was to be a nightmare for us. To date we've had their service department back at least 6 times attempting to "fix" the issue with my husband needing to leave work each time. We strongly feel that although there was obviously an issue to start with, there is NO excuse for taking 6 tries to fix such a simple issue. I'm sure there is protocol they need to follow, but they crossed the line at 3 tries. We are extremely disappointed with both the service we were provided as well as East Town not accommodating us with the fact we spent many thousands of dollars there and were made to feel this was no big deal. Well guess what, their loss. They may have been convenient for us to buy from as we're only 10 miles away but if I performed my job like their service department, I WOULDN'T HAVE A JOB!!! Unacceptable East Town...We'll hit the big box stores and deal with the flunkies, at least their incompetence is obvious on the first try and they don't try to hide it...

Stopped in and told the salesman Andy what had happened and he handed me a copy of the warranty and told me to call them! After about a month dealing with the warranty company finally got a store credit and John (Owner) chipped in the rest and I got another Microwave with no out of pocket Money plus installed it at no charge. So thank you John and Greg!! But I still have to vent on 2 issues though! First issue was the salesman Andy who gave me a copy of the warranty and told me to call the warranty company. He should have called them and taken me out of the equationâŚI bought the warranty from East Town and they should have handled this! After 3 phone calls over a 3 week period and a constant run around I went on line and gave the warranty company a terrible review! Within 2 days after that they settled it. They told me that they had sent an Authorization to East Town and they would contact me..well no one did so I called and got Salesmen Andy who said they did receive it but he never called me to tell me that!
