Dollar Tree — Local services in Waveland

I grabbed 6 sodas from the machine, threw them in the buggy on the way to check out and placed the basket on the counter. Checked out, got in the vehicle, and started passing out the drinks.. I'm not even out of the parking lot yet and realize that one of them has been opened already. I return to the store show the girl who checked me out that it (1 soda) had been opened already and not by me. I asked for an exchange but she said she couldn't, she told me to go see another female cashier who said I had to purchase another one, because of health reasons and it was store policy she couldn't take it back. I explained THAT is exactly why I was returning it, because of health reasons, I didn't want a drink after someone either. I know it's stupid, it's only $1 right? But it is the principle behind it. Worst store ever!!!! That place is a mess, boxes and trash on the floor, don’t bother to pick it up. Carts and cart on the Isles. Store is just like the hunter treasure we used had, total mess, merchandise put everywhere, without a care in the world. Cashier extremely rude, didn’t want to avoid a item I didn’t want, told me next time to use the scanner to check price. The other associates were on the phone and talking. The Dollar Tree in Slidell are way better then this one…Slidell stores are the best, this one...

Not the "Dollar Tree" anymore, now it's the "$1.25 Tree". Regardless, they have inexpensive brand name items. There's a pretty good selection of items. Personally, I go there to purchase my cards. They have a good selection with all holidays included. They even have blank cards if you're creative enough to write your own card or just want to write a quick note to someone. Go visit the store and you'll see what I mean. The employees are very kind which helps to make your shopping experience...
