Only gave it one star because I had too. Brought my family to watch a movie that was online as well as on a sign in the lobby just to be told “they weren’t playing it yet” whatever so we pick another movie. Apparently the kid working got his feelings hurt by me suggesting that the sign be taken down since they’re not playing the movie because he, 30 minutes into the movie we decided to watch, felt the need to walk into the theater and tell my husband to “take his feet off the seat” and proceeded to snap his fingers and talk in a super degrading manner. Mind you, my husbands leg was resting on top of the other leaving his foot just in between the seats, not touching the actual seat. Once my husband explained this to the worker, his exact response was “you don’t own the movie theater, put your foot down now” I wouldn’t speak to anyone in the manner that this kid was talking let alone a perfect stranger. He proceeded to storm out and bring yet another worker again telling him to “put his foot down” when (yet again) his foot wasn’t touching anything. Mind you there were maybe 10 people in the theater and not a soul sitting anywhere near us. One she got nowhere because we were doing nothing wrong, they storm off and bring yet one more person, this time it was (I’d assume) the manager on duty. Once he was told that my husbands foot wasn’t touching anything his response was “well it could touch it” and just stood there. At that point it was comical and we’d had enough. We told the manager that we wanted a refund since they weren’t going to allow us to watch the movie in peace. I’ve never in my life experienced something so ridiculous or been spoke to in such a disrespectful way. We will NEVER step foot into this movie...
Read moreThis is a four star theater for a small town, but in comparison to other theaters it's barely a 3 star. The staff is nice and it isn't run down. However, I can't have dairy and asked if their popcorn and butter- flavor contained dairy. I was told no, but no one really checked anything, and they seemed uncertain to begin with. I got really sick after that visit, but the next time we went my spouse and I both got sick. We had popcorn without extra butter and soda. Places that serve food should have resources available for people with food allergies and restrictions. I hope they read their reviews and remedy issues. An allergen menu would be great... Something that states what foods don't contain the 8 major allergens. This might give them some insight on how little anyone with allergies can eat at their theater. Also, this theater is always FREEZING. I have to wear jeans and a sweater in the middle of the summer.... And that just keeps me from being in extreme pain from freezing... We've almost left early before because the theater was so cold. The seats in one of the theaters are broken and hard at the top. It's a smaller theater room, and we've never been in that one before. Maybe it's the leftover theater room or the older movie room? None of the seats in any of the rooms are very clean. It would also be nice if boosters for toddlers were offered, but don't bother if you're not going to clean them thoroughly...
Read moreThree children/teenagers seem to be in charge. 12% of movie was projecting below the screen. Lights were left on in the theater. First child said the movie projection would correct itself when the movie started after the ads. This did not happen. When I reported this the second child said they were working on it, it was being fixed. An older lady behind the counter repeated that the projection would be fixed. The third time I reported it all three children behind the counter found humor in the situation. I was told the lights were on the normal setting for the theater. When I first approached the theater to purchase tickets the young child in the box office window wanted to tell me why he threw some young adults out. I told him that I did not ask him that. I then asked him where I could purchase tickets. A guest talking with the second child commented that I was being rude for requesting assistance from these children. I debated on leaving a review but you can't fix what you don't know about. If you don't fix what you know about that is how your business is run. Touch photo attached to enlarge for viewing. You can see the lights on and how the top of the screen is blank. About 12% of the movie is below the screen barely visible. They did lower the top curtain to meet up with the top of the projection. The projection was never centered on the...
