I was just in the store in Waycross, Ga with my granddaughter. She picked up a pair of shoes that had a $6 clearance tag on it. The cashier called the manager, Jessica she took the shoes and said that she was going to check the correct price. I stood in the line explaining to the cashier that I expected to get the shoes for the price that was on it. The manager came back walked past the cashier and me stating that the correct price is $10. The cashier stated that she know I didn't do it but they didn't even want to sell me the shoes for the price that was listed. The manager didn't come back and explain it to me at all. I felt like she was disrespectful and unprofessional regarding this matter. I wouldn't advise any family or friends to shop at this store and expect be treated fairly when making a purchase. So...
Read moreI don't have any complaints about the actual store, it was great, but the cashier was the single most pushiest I've ever seen one be about trying to get me to sign up for a store credit card. We live no where near a TJ Maxx and were only stopping in to check one out since it was on the way to where we were going, and she spent the entire transaction desperately trying to convince us to sign up for a credit card that we didn't need. I don't blame the cashier at all, I know this has to be a management thing, so I'd really advise management to try to tone down this desperation. T J Maxx has a lot of variety in their store from Jewelry to purses, shoes and hats, all kinds of clothes, housewares, bed coverings, books and toys. They have great prices also.
