First and foremost, the friendliness of the the waiters and waitresses is impeccable, the very good with our children. One of the waiters was even able to get our daughter to stop crying and go to giggling when she was 6 months old by making silly faces! I've never had people treat us better than family, when out to eat.
Secondly, I've heard others accuse them of being unclean, usually they're just word of mouth or people that have never really ate there. And I've heard various things like roaches and rats. But I can say that we need have been going there for over 2 years and have never seen one, not one Health violation or critter. They seem to be very clean and well-kept. And waitresses clean every table as soon as the people leave.
Thirdly, the management is polite and quiet, I've gone when they were busy, and when I was the only one there, they were consistently clean and friendly. They weren't loud noisy like Burger King where the managers are barking at the employees. It was an enjoyable experience every time.
Fourthly, there's a nice, wide variety of foods. Ranging from Chinese, Italian, American, southern, and desserts from all of those countries. They even have salad bars and ice cream.
Finally, the prices are very fair, and if your child is under to the eat for free. The process do Very Bad Day some days they have salmon and other days they may have turkey or roast beef the more expensive the meat the plate maybe a dollar or two higher. But, I've never spent more than $12 per person, your drink is separate but the average price is about $9, and a dollar or two for the drink. My wife my children and my other family members all enjoy eating there. And for all four of us to eat, is usually about $25 if we go...
Read moreThe buffet had a a good assortment of foods, but the server seemed preoccupied and unattentive. This was not upsetting because anyone can have a bad day. The crab legs were wirey tasting and priced over and above the general buffet charge (lunch about $7 / dinner $10, crab legs $7 extra, apprx). We were there about 30 minutes. The server got my request for hot water wrong three times. I just wanted a small cup of water to dissolve my Splenda before mixing it into my unsweetened tea and she kept bringing me tap hot water. Language barrier, maybe but we overcame that. But the roach on the wall, crawling toward our table as we finished our salads, totally ruined my appetite. We called for the waitress, who said "sorry" and killed it and we asked for the check. The owner gave some odd explanation and his wife smirked as she offered 10% off the half eaten meal. We had a great experience in 2009 but we will not revisit New...
