Build-A-Bear Workshop — Local services in Wayne

I was there last Saturday. My son pick up a Zero from the nightmare of Christmas. The first lady who took care of us was nice. But she only offered add ons. Like sounds and a special heart. We got the sounds that was the song of the movie, but not the special heart or any of the scents. After she gave Zero to her coworker to stuffed it. She only told my son to pick a heart and to press the pedal. I remember they used to tell them to blow on the heart to give it live an other nice things so I felt magical. The person felt that had no emotions. Put the heart in the toy and closed. We were not offered a certificate or a box for it. I don't know why should I buy and expensive stuffed animal if I'm not offered the special treatment. I thought build a bear was about that. Otherwise I could have gotten Zero...

This workshop is alright I guess. Yes they have most of the selection that you'd find anywhere else build a bear wise, the clothes are very limited but expected for a pop up in the middle of the mall. The workers, atleast with me however forgot most of the BAB procedure including the whole point of build a bear which is the heart ceremony and putting a heart inside the BAB, they stitched it up so fast I didn't even get to do that. 😭 Most of the visit was full of just half smiles, not the most uplifting memorable build a bear experience honestly if you have young kids you'd probably just be better off taking them to the location at the American Dream or literally just go to...

We had so much fun making our stuffed animals today. Sarah was so patient and kind with our very indecisive crew. She took the time to explain what she was going to do next and made sure all purchases were parent approved (much appreciated!) She was on alone and was very efficient when a line stared to form. We didn’t feel rushed at all and no one waited for a long time. We had a really great experience from start to finish. Someone give Sarah a raise!
