I was there last Thursday at approximately 3:00pm. I was looking at bathing suits when I was approached by a man (Gang looking degenerate) holding a watch. The man asked me what I thought of the watch since he recently broke his watch. It was $10.00 and wanted to know if it was a good replacement ,I just answered I don't know. Then as i was looking at the bathing suits, he said "Mhhhm, I love the beach!" This guy was extremely creepy. I had an eerie feeiling he was goiung to rob me or stab me. I quickly moved away from him, however he walked extremely closely to me almost touching my shoulder. I said what are you doing walking with me?" I walk towards the cashier like I was checking out, he was at my shoulder again, inches away from me. I proceeded to the other register, there he was walking briskly with me, again almost touching my shoulder. I went up to the register and said I was going to report him to security, he told the cashier, I offered to buy him this watch, I said, I never said that, Then he told her I changed my mind, A security guard came over and escorted him out of the store telling him to drop the watch,. He also mentioned how he saw him in there 3 times that day. This degenerate was extremely creepy and looking for trouble. I will NEVER SHOP IN THIS STORE AGAIN. This was in broad daylight, inside the store, he was brazen and did not care who saw it. I quickly left the store after he was escorted out. This review is not specifically for the Wayne JCPenney but specifically JCPenney mattress department overall. My father and I both purchased two Serta mattresses from JCPenney. Within 1 to 2 years, both mattresses caved in the middle where it sinks. I called Serta since the mattress has 10 years warranty and they confirmed it is a damaged mattress which is covered. However, since we purchased thru JCPenney, it has to go thru JCPenney. So started the nightmare of last 2 months of calling JCPENNEY. JCPENNEY online customer service has us on hold for this issue for 2 months. Disgusting customer service when it comes to JCPENNEY staff not notifying the correct information. It took JCP 2 minutes to charge us $200 for pickup and restocking fee. However, YOUR STAFF DID NOT tell us we need to BUY ANOTHER mattress from you for ONE WHOLE MONTH!!!!! That’s multiple people we spoke to over and over who obviously doesn’t know your policy however you have the audacity to put the fault on the customer. The shipping vendor is waiting for JCP authorization but its still on hold. AT this point, why in the world would I even buy a mattress from JCPENNY. Honestly…would anyone after this experience? Your customer service failed to tell us this important bit and now you decide to change the rules!!!
