I had a terrible experience with this store, first I came to purchased a black balloon to get it filled with helium, the lady that was helping me couldn’t even tie it up because of her long pointy nails, she then called for help, the lady that came to help her ended up screwing the balloon and I had to return it, I brought two other balloons that I purchased somewhere else to get them blown up, another associate came up and told me I couldn’t blow up balloons that were purchased outside the store, I had done that many times with no issue. She then tells me “Ok I’ll do it” and let me there waiting for more than 20 minutes to blow up other people’s balloons that were online purchases…. After that she then had me waiting another 20 minutes to tie them up on the weight… so basically I went to Michael’s to get three balloons filled with helium and waited 40 minutes to get everything done! When I complained, one of them just answered that “Balloons take time” unbelievable. I AM NEVER COMING BACK TO THAT...
Read moreDo not go to this art supply store if you are black. I don't want to say that all staff here are racist but all it takes is One bad Apple to get a bad review. I visited this establishment for a few basic art supply markers. My issue here is that when I saw the white woman behind the register say to a white customer "Hi how are you did you find everything you needed". When I got up to the register there was complete silence. What makes me so different that you couldn't ask me the same question as you asked that white woman. Maybe I didn't find everything I was looking for. I guess to be treated fairly like the white customers I have to go in there and paint myself White. Such a shame.
Update 02/07/2025 came here to get thread needle. Once again, the cashier who is white says nothing to me and doesn't even greet me, but yet the white woman behind me ...
Read moreThe staff is severely incompetent.
They cancelled 14/15 items of my online order even though the items in question were still in stock because they “couldn’t find it”.
I received no notice that the majority of my order was cancelled.
On the contrary, I received several texts that my order was ready to pickup. It took the staff 4 trips back and forth from the pickup station to the checkout counter to scan my order receipt to even understand what happened.
Then I waited for 15 minutes at the counter with no communication from the manager…who also had no idea how to remedy the situation, and had to call someone else.
How many employees does it take to change a lightbulb? I don’t have enough hours in my day to find out.
I wouldn’t trust the staff with single...
