Been to this restaurant few times now. My wife and I always look for great Asian food. It’s always been good flavored food and great service. We’ve had their fried pot stickers, Szechuan dumplings and their Phoenix chicken, along with the chow mein with bbq pork. It was all delicious and their Szechuan sauce is one of the best I’ve ever had the phoenix chicken is almost a cross between sesame chicken and a orange chicken with some heat in it . The chow mein noodles were cooked perfectly and the pork had a great bbq flavorThen the next time we got sweet and sour shrimp(pre coated in sauce) Mongolian beef, egg rolls, orange peel chicken and the spicy beef soup. The Mongolian beef was a good rich sauce with the great thick gravyish style sauce with great flavor of garlic and soy. Orange peel had great flavor and pretty common orange sauce flavor. Sweet and sour shrimp comes presauced, not like some places where they give it to you to dip it. It all was great and couldn’t ask for better meals for the cost of them. They are pretty decent priced and their portions fit their price. Their staff has always been more than helpful and very responsive. Defiantly will be a go to for another Chinese food craving! Update:8-2-25. They now carry sushi and other Japan styled dishes along with Chinese and Japanese dish we had of Orange chicken over ramen noodles. Their sushi rolls are good as well and we loved their crab ragroon sushi roll.

Pricey compared to other restaurants. Service was great & fairly fast. The spicy Edamame appetizer came out 10 minutes after the main meal was served (oops). My wife enjoyed the Kong Pao Chicken even though it was different and somewhat bland, nearly all celery, flat noodles ok, (and no peanuts like pictured?). I enjoyed the Three Ingredient Taste and Happy Family house specialty. Shame none of the dinners came with soup/salad, rice, and egg roll like the lunch specials (oversight? Pay for same portions but no egg roll and no rice). We asked about if fried rice came with dinner & waitress brought out a bowl (after I showed menu says rice included). The egg/spring roll is a $2 addition cost that is included in lunch menu😡. The dinners are more that I could eat and suggested they include the lunch/kids’s menus as a senior dinner menu. Many other Asian restaurants have banquet meals with the exact same foods customized cooked special to your interest for much much much less cost.

Floors were very dirty. The staff couldn't provide any recommendations and said they dont eat here. I asked if the boa was beef or pork and she had no idea and just starred at me. Didnt bring us silverware or napkins. We kept having to call the waitress over to us to get any service (to get drink, to order, for silverware and the check). The other waitress kept giving us and others dirty looks. When we asked her for nakins, she looked at us like we were the biggest inconvenience and then gave us a single napkin. The boa dough was tough, but they were ok. Not the best I've had. Ramen had good flavor but chicken in it was spongey. The chicken dish was half cold. Like all the chicken was cold and the noodles were warm. Both dishes were supposed to be spicey. Maybe if you think green peppers are spicy. Fried rice was Ok. NASTY water and fountain drinks. They need a better filter. We would not eat here again.

ETA: Tl;dr: I paid $80 and waited over an hour for a delivery order that I had to go pick up myself, and the food wasn't even that great.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced, and I worked in food service for 8 years. And mediocre food at best.

First, I placed an order online for delivery. $80 after tip and delivery fee. That's pretty normal for Chinese, so whatever. Estimate was 20-30 minutes.

30 minutes goes by, I start to wonder where the food is. 45 minutes. An hour. Finally I decided to call to check the order status. I called 4 times. No answer. My husband called. No answer. So I drove down to see what's going on.

I walked in and was ignored by 2 waitresses. Another woman was standing by the register with me, she was being ignored too. Waitress kept walking by me and avoiding eye contact, the phone was ringing off the hook and everyone was ignoring it. Then the waitress starts TAKING SOMEONE ELSE'S ORDER right in front of me, having never even acknowledged the other 2 customers standing at the front for the past 5+ minutes. Other orders have gone out, but this lady and I are still standing there... I caught the waitress and let her know I placed a DELIVERY order over an hour ago, and that I had tried to call but never got an answer. She says she can "check on my order." ???? I say ok. A minute later someone walks out with my food. Who knows how long it was sitting back there, but there it is.

Didn't get so much as a "sorry for the wait."

Never going back. If I could leave zero...

Heads up for anyone in Weatherford. Do not, I repeat.. do not eat at Bamboo Garden. Terrible service, terrible quality food. Not worth the time and definitely not worth the money. Seriously. Fried rice was mushy. Salad was warm. Egg drop soup was startlingly bland. As was everything else. Orange chicken was barely flavored and drowned in sauce.

Chicken and broccoli the chicken had literally NO seasoning. Like none. And the chicken was slimy

My wife had what the “server” called “hot and spicy” soup… I’m willing to bet they meant hot and sour. But what we got was like warm at best, thick and tasted of soup that may have been made a week ago and left out. Then heated in a microwave. Her sweet and sour chicken was mediocre.

The “eggrolls” were actually spring rolls. And were soft and mushy inside.

Nothing in the entire experience even remotely made us think it was fresh. Or freshly made. Maybe the cooks are from a 2nd or 3rd rate Chinese buffet. Where quality doesn’t matter.

None of the staff know anything about serving. Maybe they are family members helping out? But not a single ounce of service ability in any of them.

We watched one couple who was already sat before we came in leave because they didn’t get their food. We got ours before them. And even then it took a long time.

Quality worse than I have ever had when it comes to...
