Stopped by Sasquatch's Candy Den today with my 11-year-old for the culmination of his "Yes Day." They have a cotton candy machine on site! Y'all, what?! Fresh cotton candy you can watch the machine make? Extra special treat. It looked so good as we passed a table of ladies outside Yesterday's Sandwich Shop they asked where we got it because they wanted some. The prices were fair for what we got; not just candy, but the whole experience. I did happen to find some candy I haven't found since the early 90s, unless you're in a specialty candy store, as well as Japanese candy one usually has to order online. I loved the selection. The staff in the store were really sweet themselves. Really patient as we walked around and there was no pressure. The only bummer for the kiddo was they were out of larger jawbreakers. Oh bummer, we have to go back now (*sarcasm. Can't wait to go back). If you're downtown, swing by and grab yourself a sweet treat, their truffles look amazing and I can't wait to try all...
