This place absolutely sucks. Management sucks. Lashawn has to be the laziest person I ever met in my life. If you love your unit getting flooded with water. And you love never getting any food deliveries because none of the drivers want to walk a city block to get to your unit then this is the place for you. I guarantee you'll regret moving here. They don't tell you about the serious issues they have with the pipes & the flooding. The piping is so bad in this place. It consistently sets off the fire alarm. Fire department come in multiple times a week. And if you plan on parking in their lot. Good luck with your vehicle not getting damaged from water leaks pouring over your car turning your vehicle into a ice cinder block with a super thick layer of ice that will most likely damage your car paint job. This place has serious underlying issues. You've been warned. Don't let me get started on the concierge working here. They work for planned company. Got to be the worst concierge company out there. You will get a new concierge every couple of weeks because they either quit...
Read moreRiva Pointe is a 'beyond waterfront' condo complex, newly renovated and a beautiful place to live. Everyday views of waterfront living, a transportation hub (6 minutes to New York city), Whole Foods Mkt across the street, Restaurants & 'happy hours' all around. Pet friendly and a parking space owned by each unit. A fresh air street between the units, not narrow hallways. A good school system and public parks. Don't believe people who write negative comments in order to promote inferior properties. - come see for yourself. The HOA is a little higher, but the extra assessment will go away in 2 1/2 years and the improvements will remain. It took the Army Corp of Engineers almost ten years to shore up this unique pier - and they won't do another. Board the NY Waterway ferry to Lincoln Harbor, leaving every 20 minutes, and come see for yourself. If you work in New York city, this is a perfect fresh air , close by waterfront location. It's so relaxing after a stressful day to have a drink & watch the sun go down on the...
Read moreI’ve owned a 3br unit in this development for more than 10 years and have loved every aspect of living in Riva Point. This building offers the best views and access to nyc and every possible amenity and now a Whole Foods across the street! Parking your car very close to your unit is so convenient. The staff is amazing and the unique aspect of the outdoor promenade and private entrances gives the feeling of brownstones on a quiet, well landscaped street with quant benches and streetlights. The Fourth of July fireworks experiences alone over the years justified the slightly higher maintenance fees and the purchase price much lower than comparable nearby properties sealed the deal for me. Because of the elevation of the units on this pier, even during hurricane sandy I felt safer than the other buildings along the water. The “wow factor” of this community is...
