We had a pleasant experience selecting and ordering a sectional with our salespeople Jennifer and Cory. Unfortunately our experience took a turn for the worse from there. When the furniture was delivered we were told they would not move our old furniture. That left my daughter and mother to move multiple pieces of furniture across the house to make room for the new furniture. Shortly after the delivery my daughter discovered several small cuts/slices in the back of one of the leather recliners. The cuts appeared to be made by a razor knife. She took pictures of the recliner and the wedge (which also had damage) and immediately contacted Cory. He made arrangements for the pieces to be replaced. Two days later another cut was discovered in one of the consoles. Pictures were sent to Cory and he assured me he would take care of it. I expressed concern about the other three pieces and the possibility of finding more issues with the furniture. Then comes the call from Havertys asking for more pictures of the console. When you spend this kind of money you shouldn't have to worry about how the furniture will arrive and replacements shouldn't need to be questioned...especially when the pictures were already sent. If you choose to order from Havertys make sure you inspect all pieces of furniture prior to allowing the delivery truck to leave. If I had been home, I would not have allowed the furniture to remain in my house and most likely would have selected another retail store. Update 12/12/21 Haverty's delivered replacements for all 6 pieces. Unfortunately, 3 of the new pieces are damaged. This has been beyond frustrating and I'm dropping my rating from 3 stars to 2. They indicated they will replace the new damaged pieces. Purchasing new furniture should not be so frustrating. Again...check every piece prior to allowing the delivery truck to pull out of your driveway. The tears in the leather are easily visible under bright light.

The saleswoman was very helpful and we were able to find just the right sectional for our home! Thank you Wesley Chapel team. Edit 6/25/22: Sectional received without legs and two pieces, the couch and chaise lounge, broken. Delivery men left the full sectional without checking the quality. My husband found the splintered, and broken wood (see picture). Also, without the legs, the metal clasps under the sectional are piercing the flooring (see picture). VERY unsatisfied customer at this point. Hopefully Haverty’s will resolve the problem soon. 6/27/22: After 48 hours my husband contacted customer service after no email or phone call from the company about broken pieces and missing legs. Customer service was very helpful though and promised to new couches on Wednesday. 6/29/22: New couch pieces were delivered on time and issue resolved. I would hope to see Havertys continue better quality control in the warehouse before sending items out to customers, and help with the breakdown between Customer Care complaints and resolution, as my husband needed to make the phone call before couches were delivered.

We are thrilled with the help that we received and the pieces we bought for our new home. Teresa was such a big help and she was very patient when I needed to come in solo with my 4 kiddos. We are thrilled with the help that we received and the pieces we bought for our new home. Teresa was such a big help and she was very patient when I needed to come in solo with my 4 kiddos. I had delivery issues twice, but everything else was still a five star experience! People deserve shout outs here!! Some good and some bad.

We ordered a bedroom set right before closing time on Monday and scheduled delivery for Wednesday. I was told that I'd be contacted Tuesday for a delivery window.

Wednesday, I went to work since no one had confirmed a delivery and I called Jeanne (my sales rep) who wasn't able to answer. As I got to my wor appointment 45 minutes later, a driver called and told me he was on his way with my bedroom set and he'd be arriving in 50 minutes. I immediately turned around and ran back home since I don't have anyone available at home long enough to supervise a delivery.

I called Jeanne. I called the store. I sat on hold. I was upset. I ended up speaking with Jamie, the assistant manager. The problem was solved without an argument or anything. Jamie was great! Incredibly polite and professional!!

Justin and Cody were my delivery guys. They were professional and personable. When they were done, Justin told me the USB ports were plugged in and working before asking me to inspect for damage. Everything looked fine physically, he told me the electrical components worked, and I signed off on the delivery. I handed him $50 as a tip and sent him out the door.

Later, I realized that the power didn't work on the nightstand on the left side of the bed (nearest the bathroom - I mention this so Justin and Cody know who set up that nightstand). When I went to check, it wasn't plugged in. The transformer was in the drawer and it broken because it was missing parts. It could never have worked. Either Cody lied to Justin or Justin lied to me so I'd sign off on the delivery. Sketchy stuff like this is why people hate working with these stores. They acted nice and professional, got a fat tip, and probably laughed about how they got tipped and left me with a busted piece. It's so much harder to get a part under a warranty claim as opposed to when the delivery guys put in the claim at drop-off.

On top of that, Cody was pushing his pressure washing business. I really have no problem with that, but if you're going to set up my stuff poorly and lie to me about this, why should I expect the attention to detail at your side business to be any better? Honestly, I have a feeling Justin is a straight shooter and Cody is bringing him down.

After that, I called the store and spoke to Jeanne. She was appalled and she had that sorted out almost as fast as Jamie did with the first delivery issue I had. She grabbed a replacement part and told me she was going to drive it to my house! She is the main reason this is still a five star review!!

I know that all sounds rough, but I'd still recommend Haverty's and I will absolutely be back to work with Jeanne who was very knowledgable, patient, and super resourceful. She was fantastic! I hate watching the sales buzzards swarm the door as you walk up and I rolled my eyes when she introduced herself, but I was wrong. She was wonderful, really knows her business, and actually cares about customers. I highly highly recommend working with her.

And I have to admit that the delivery team was respectful of my home. I'm not joking when I say that Justin was exceptionally concerned about being careful not to do any damage. I really appreciated that because most people don't and you could literally see him double-checking everything to make sure my house was as protected as the delivery they were making.

They made mistakes, but Jamie and Jeanne were incredibly gracious about it. They made this a wonderful experience despite the hitches. It's okay to make mistakes as long as you own up to them; Haverty's stands behind their products and they stand with their customers when there's an issue. Great recovery!

Thank you Haverty's, Jeanne, and Jamie. Thanks again for the professionalism and the exceptional customer support!! I plan to recommend you for quality furniture if clients need assistance with their new homes.

We have spent the last four weeks waiting for the delivery of a sectional we ordered in early July. Finally received notice that they were ready to deliver, however they left us until the very last time block of the day (3:30-5:30). They let us know the day before delivery that we are in this time block. Unfortunately my wife and I had a engagement at 5:00 pm that same day (scheduled months in advance) and we could not sit there and wait. However, ever hopeful I waited at home until the last minute, 4:50 pm, then we had to leave. I desperately attempted to reschedule and in the process they hung up on me once and then offered me a rescheduled delivery three weeks from now in the second week in September.

I am also left to wonder how deliberate the delivery men would have been while making a delivery with less than 30 minutes left in the work day. Furthermore, I really don’t want delivery men in my house after 5:00 pm. Is simply rude and frankly not what I would expect from a company that considers itself “high end”.

This sectional was the second of six pieces I was planning on purchasing but I am now reconsidering. The manager I spoke to (after being disconnected and having to wait on hold AGAIN) seem totally disinterested in finding a solution, her message was “sorry that is how their delivery system works” (less than 24 hours notice for a two hour window of when they want to deliver, hell even the cable company is better than that) and I just need to make myself subordinate to the business I just paid well over $2000 dollars. That is why I spend money at merchants, so I can reschedule my life at the last minute to fit their convenience.

Clearly “top drawer delivery” does not imply what I thought does. This company, particularly the delivery department, is a clown show! Take your business elsewhere, where it will be appreciated.

Edit: Following my review, I realized we purchased the sofa sectional through the Dale Mabry location, not the Wesley Chapel location. Additionally, the unhelpful manager I spoke to was at the Dale Mabry location. None the less, I was contacted by a member of the Havertys Management team at the Wesley Chapel location (they are all under the same corporate structure), Brandon. Brandon’s sole focus was, unlike the manager I spoke to previously, making this issue right. Brandon went to work and got the furniture delivered less than a week! Pretty impressive considering both the manager at the Dale Mabry store and the “Top Drawer Delivery” manager at Havertys’ office in Georgia swore a delivery before September 9, 2020, was “simply impossible.” We love the sectional and have learned a valuable lesson; from here on out, we will shop at the Wesley...

Edited New Review: After an initial bad experience, Brandon, the store manager went above and beyond to make sure that my family and I did not stay with a bad taste of Haverty's Wesley Chapel. He apologize for the way we were treated and made sure to take care of all the issues in regards to our nightstands. I really appreciate everything Brandon did to make sure that our experience ended in a high note.

Brandon, thank you for taking care of us and bettering our experience with your store.

Original Review: Honestly, wouldn’t go back. After a good amount of research trying to find the perfect bedroom set, I finally found something I loved at Haverty’s. I decided to wait until Memorial Day to purchase it since there was going to be a sale. When the day came, my family and I went to the store and when we entered, we were completely ignored. So we decided to stand by the bedroom set to see if someone would come help us — nothing. After 15 minutes of waiting, I decided to go find someone. As I walked towards the entrance, I made eye contact with someone working the floor and they took off and completely ignored me. So freaking rude. When I was finally able to get someone to help me purchase, she was cold as ice. And when we asked why the price had not changed since they were having a sale she said “honey don’t you know this is real wood” making us feel belittled and as if we didn’t know what we were purchasing. She then said she could offer us free delivery and that all our furniture would come by June 22. The lady then transferred us to the paying department and then left without a trace. To top it all off, it’s July 15 and I still only have HALF my order. I called on two different occasions, both times they said they would check my order and call me back with information in regards to my purchases. I NEVER got a call back. Finally I called a third time and they informed me that they won’t be receiving the dressers I ordered until the week of August 14th and THEN they’ll make deliveries. I told them that was unacceptable and they should tell their employees to not give off dates if this was gunna happen. The guy on the phone offered no apologies, no discount, or help.
