I went to a Buffalo Wild Wings in NY and it was good , so I decided to take my daughter tonight to this location. Let me tell you that I will never be back! We walked in, and the sign up front said to sit on your own. That’s what we did, so our waiter comes over and says let me wipe the table . Sure no problem, he literally wiped the table with a napkin and off the sides at times onto us. So gross! Okay so no worries we let it go. Then he takes our drink orders , and doesn’t realize we have no menus. He then looks at us and says are you ready to order. I tell him that we have no menus. He brings us the menus and not even 5 mins later here comes our wings. Many would be happy for quick service but it should be quality over anything. I knew when he came with those wings they had been sitting because wings take a long time. They aren’t serving fresh wings , they are serving wings and throwing sauce on them and they keep reheating them which causes the wings to be hard and overcooked. I literally choked on a piece of chicken it was so hard. After running to the bathroom to try and get this hard piece of wing out of my throat I had to eat a fry literally to get it down, the wings had barely any meat on them and they literally looked like just a bone and overdone . Fast forward I told them I did not want the wings and the waiter got the manager. He comes over and ask me what’s wrong, and I say two words and without even apologizing he says ok we will take them off. The waiter literally comes over after that and ask how our meal was smh knowing I just sent the wings back. You can tell when someone is being over nice instead of just being natural and providing good service. The waiter was so focused on trying to be over friendly that I will give him in the beginning that , and then he just couldn’t keep it together. I literally by passed everything because he was nice in that moment. At this point I wanted to get my check and leave. He comes over and asked if it was handled and I had to ask for my check again. Everything we had to ask for more then once. So finally I got my check and the wings were off because I ate one and sent them back. I gave this kid my card and it took him 10 mins just to bring me my stuff back because he was walking by us serving others. I had to ask where my check was and card. The total was 18$ and some change and I didn’t even realize they never added my daughters sweet tea because at the top I misread sweet barbecue reading it fast , so I thought it was on there. The server brought my check back after already swiping my card and it was 21$. When I asked him why the extra charge because there was absolutely no communication that it wasn’t on there , he proceeded to talk to me like I was trying to get the tea free. Never did that come out of my mouth ! I just thought it was already on there: so for the next 5 mins this kid was like the Tea has to be paid for , and if I don’t add it I’ll get in trouble and blah blah completely misunderstood why I was upset to begin with! There was NO communication that’s why I was upset! When I tell you that these wings were small and no meat and looked like they were sitting for days! I am so upset and I won’t be back to this location. The server was nice but a hot mess until the end and basically treated me like I wanted free sweet tea and just being short. This location definitely needs new something after reading the...
Read moreI usually never have a problem here, but I felt like management should know about this. We came in on Thursday December 22nd, walked into the building at 8:02 PM and it was pretty busy and on a wait, which was not a problem at all, I completely understand. The host told us we could sit at the bar if we’d like because it was just me and my boyfriend. Absolutely not a problem for us at all. The bartender was a young girl with lighter brown wavy hair, had her hair half back, never got her name but I wish we did. She greeted us within a couple minutes and got us our drinks. We were already ready to order but I didn’t wanna bother her right away because she seemed busy so we let her do what she had to do before coming back. She walked past us multiple times talking to all the other guests but me and my boyfriend. I completely understand I’ve been a bartender before and in the service industry for 5 years. We waited patiently until 15 minutes past and that’s when she started greeting more guests (understandable) and started having a conversation with them for a few minutes, which kind of threw me off because she didn’t really speak to us at all. After a few more minutes, my boyfriend tried flagging her down to put in some food, still nothing, didn’t even bat an eye our way. That’s when I started to get a bit frustrated so I waited a bit longer so I could pay for my drink. Still nothing, still did not even look at us, I also need to note she was just walking around her bar at this time, no tickets, no food running, nothing. I finally just pulled out cash and left it for my drink and just left. It kind of sucks being ignored like that when you also do this for a living. I completely understand it was busy but waiting 25 mins to even be acknowledged is not okay. I know how people are in the industry and I’m not gonna blame it on this but could it be because we are young and minorities? Who knows. I’ve been wanting to return since but I’ve been hesitant. Just know if you’re gonna eat here wait...
Read moreIve been coming to this location since opening day at least once a week and Ive always had a great experience until recently. I walked into the bar and there were many open tables like usual, so we sat down and then the hostess came over and told us we couldn't sit there... I asked why they said there is a wait... there were 15 open tables (bar seating, NOT in the main area which is, and always has been open seating) One of the servers we know came over and essentially told the hostess to go away and then we got served, ate, had a good time and left. Went back there yesterday and the same thing happened, the hostess ran over and pretty much yelled at us and told us we cant sit there, there is a wait..... 3 total tables had people sitting down in the bar... and not 1 human waiting at the front area for a table. I asked for the manager, the manager came out and said you cant sit here you have to wait. I asked why she said our kitchen is backed up.... I said I wont order food then until your ready we just want a few drinks. She said no.... you cant sit here and order a drink you have to go up front and wait! I told her ok well ive been coming here since opening day, we come in and spend $100 a week or more and tip 30% to all the servers, if you wont serve us anything and we leave, im never coming back and you just lost a good customer. She said OK! have a nice day, goodbye! Then of course on the way out the hostess yells at me in a sarcastic way, HAVE A NICE DAY SIR, shes maybe 18 years old? I didnt engage, sorry im not a child. I definitely WONT be back to this location, i eat at buffalo wild wings locations all over the US, this one apparently now has people working there that are chasing off customers. no wonder why they are losing all their business to walk ons, and all their servers too.... good luck with...
