We scheduled a guided distillery tour and were amazed by the knowledge, process, and passion of the distillers including Justin, our guide, as well as Alan, the Head Distiller who joined us and added even more to our experience. We were so impressed with the start-to-finish process and the explanations that Justin gave throughout the tour. He provided a great amount of detail and science to the distillation process, but kept it understandable for us novices. Justin was great about answering any questions we threw his way and added his own personal experiences to the storytelling that really made it enjoyable and informative. A great small distillery, doing some innovative alchemy, and creating great spirits of phenomenal quality. If you are in the area, you'll definitely want to put the distillery on your schedule for a visit, tasting, and hopeful tour. My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the distillery. Justin, the Master Distiller, took us on an educational tour of the facility, and it is clear he is both knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. After our tour, Della at the tasting bar was friendly and helpful, recommending different spirits to taste. The quality of the spirits is fantastic, and we ended up taking a variety case home.
